"President Clinton and Sen. Clinton, welcome home," Bush said.

Oh, I don't feel so good.

Please! What did you want him to say, "Welcome to the Rapist and his scumbag scank of a wife! In you honor we have the cast of Hee Haw to welcome you!" Bush is class no matter what the situation.

"Bush is class no matter what the situation"

You mean GW, being a good God-fearing man of outstanding moral character and all that might say something he doesn't believe to be true for purposes of political expedience?

Would that not be akin to lying? Wonder if that means he does focus groups and poling groups also

Sorta not telling your wife how fat her ass is I guess? He's class! He knows he's a scumbag, but insulting him is what the libs wanted. They are pissed that he didn't! He knows what was left behind for him to clean up. Nothing he says will make it better, go away or fix the mess. Bush has always been polite and above the frey.

So Bill and Hillary used a drawing to get back into the White House and pick up the silverware they left behind the first time.

Proverbs 25:21-22

21 If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink: 22 For thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the LORD shall reward thee.

Winston Churchill's December 8, 1941 letter to the Japanese Ambassador outlines the acts of Japanese aggression against British forces in Maylaya, Singapore, and Hong Kong, and concludes thus:

...His Majesty's Ambassador at Tokyo has been instructed to inform the Imperial Japanese Government in the name of His Majesty's Government in the United Kingdom that a state of war exists between our two countries.

I have the honour to be, with high consideration,

Sir,
Your obedient servant,
Winston S. Churchill

Writing in Volume 3 ("the Grand Alliance") of his six-volume masterpiece The Second World War, Churchill noted: "Some people did not like this ceremonial style. But after all when you have to kill a man it costs nothing to be polite."

I'm sure that it was in this spirit that 43 found some kind words to say about 42.

Look, some of my husband's business associates are very liberal democrats and we see them in a social setting. I pride myself on being tactfull and cordial which is polite and proper.

BUT I do happen to see a vast difference between making a dignified no-nonsense presentation and the kind of good ol' boy kneeslapping joking that took place with Bush.

We've lived under the boot of the lying/cheating Clinton years and suffered too long for Bush to just blow us off. IMHO, he owes us some respect too. And today I saw none.

LOL, now that's probably closer to the truth.

Too bad you missed the event. There was a live thread and everything.

President Bush is a great and honorable man.

Clinton made a fool of himself.
