Al Qaeda gunmen posted a videotape online Tuesday showing a man who identified himself as Paul Johnson, an American Lockheed Martin employee missing since Saturday. The gunmen threatened to kill the man within 72 hours unless their demands are met. The man in the videotape identified himself as Johnson and said he works on Apache helicopters. He was shown from the front and the side, and his shirt was torn to expose a tattoo on his left shoulder. What appeared to be a bandage was on his head, and when shown from the side, there also appeared to be a bandage around his neck. A masked man armed with an automatic weapon also spoke on the video, identifying himself as Abdul Aziz al-Muqrin, the self-proclaimed military leader of al Qaeda in Saudi Arabia. His identity has not been independently verified. The masked man demanded that Saudi Arabia free al Qaeda prisoners it was holding and that Westerners leave the Arabian peninsula. If the demands weren't met within 72 hours, Johnson will be killed, the militant said. The militant also claimed that at the time of Johnson's kidnapping, one of the victim's colleagues was killed. On Saturday, when Johnson went missing in Riyadh, another American, Kenneth Scroggs, was found murdered. Lockheed spokesman Tom Jurkowsky said officials at the company had not seen the videotape. When informed that Johnson appears to be alive, Jurkowsky called it encouraging, but he also said the company remains extremely concerned for his safety.

The House of Saud tried, for decades, to placate the terrorists by paying them to go outside Saudi Arabia and terrorize elsewhere. Now, the terrorists are coming home.

I heard one news report yesterday that said at least one or two of OBL's brothers are probably supplying OBL with money. The BL family is worth several $Billions. They 'disowned' Osama years ago---meaning, they paid him to go elsewhere.

The Saudi's have been in denial for so long. It will take a high-ranking member of the royal family getting kidnapped or killed before they really understand what they are dealing with. So far it's only the Americans who are bearing the brunt.
God only knows what they probably have already done to him. My prayers to him and his family.
I keep wondering what it will take before Al Jazeera's HQ has a huge unexplained "electrical" fire.

If the flow of oil is disrupted - it would mean a total economic and social chaos in the US....
Let us pray for this man - Paul Johnson - during the ordeal he is now in. I pray that he draws near to the Lord and that the Lord will grant him strength and comfort. I pray that the Lord would deliver him from these evil, wicked enemies and he shall emerge unharmed from this ordeal.

He reminds me of someone I used to work a couple of years ago. Same age, just not as big. Real thin.
He also worked in Saudi Arabia for awhile. After visiting his home and talking to his young wife, I wanted the same. I hoped at some point maybe I’ll get a chance to work in SA, pad my bank account and return back to the states with a 19 y/o wife like him but……oh well.
I can only hope things turn out okay.
