The Real Bush Record

As John Kerry embarks on an ill-advised assault on the economy, it’s imperative we conservatives and right-of-center bloggers are armed with the facts to counter all the misinformation that’s bound to pollute the Internet in the coming weeks and months.

Therefore, with National Review’s Real Reagan Record as our inspiration, we offer Kerry Crushers, The Real Bush Record. We hope you all find this data useful.
Introduction

The U.S. economy is firing on all cylinders. Under President Bush's leadership, we have created 1.4 million jobs since August and the economy is growing at its fastest rate in 20 years. Despite this positive news, John Kerry continues his misery tour and furthers his efforts to talk down the growing economy. Because the accepted Misery Index measurement is at a historic low, Kerry has created his own index to find misery in America's economy, and justify his absurd comparison of our growing economy to the Great Depression.

Faster Economic Growth

The economy has now grown for 10 consecutive quarters or 2 and a half years.

The economic growth during the past 12 months is faster than any year in the 1990s. It’s the fastest in nearly 20 years. (Source: Bureau of Economic Analysis)

"...we have created 1.4 million jobs since August..."

How many have we created since January, 2001? That will be (saw it once already) the standard retort from every Kerry shill out there. There was even an attempt to link it to the State Dept. terrorism report where the measuring timeframe was shortened.

Be ready for the return fire because both sides are loading their guns for this battle.

You can keep your eyes on the economic lies, I'll keep hammering at the blood drenching the hands of democrat leaders as they continue to defend the indefensible of partial birth infanticide and cannibalism of embryonic stem cell harvesting. It's hard to imagine that a political party (the democrat party) has had so much success chanting the mantra of 'a woman's right to hire a serial killer to off unborn alive children'. But they have! The democrat party's proud promotion of the abortion holocaust that's gained them so many votes is hard to excuse once the truth of what the democrats have defended knowingly for so long. As the people catch up to the truth, the democrats become more hysterical with their assertions and lies, trying to shift the focus and further manipulate the people and herd their democrat partisan voters.

Using Non-Farm Payrolls as the measuring stick. The total net job loss is 394,000. (note this includes 402,000 jobs created in Jan-Feb of 2001.)

"Using Non-Farm Payrolls as the measuring stick. The total net job loss is 394,000. (note this includes 402,000 jobs created in Jan-Feb of 2001.)"

That's a very usefull number to have when the expected retort will be - but this is the first POTUS to have a net job loss during his term - since in a month or two the number will be a positive for the entire period 1/01 - present. I've never found it helpful to have only 1 line/fact in hand when entering into a contest of 'facts'. Not having a proper response tends to kill you in the argument/debate. Knowing more than your opponent can also be a devasting strategy - let them make yor next point for you.

See, the problem is, this stuff isn't getting out to the general public. People who voted for W the first time or don't like Kerry are still wishy-washy on voting for W this time. They aren't getting the message. They believe the papers and TV news, or can't get around it. Meanwhile, Michael Moore gets standing ovations and people who should know better will go see his propaganda. I know it, you know it, everyone here at FR knows it, but a hell of a lot of people don't. It worries me.

MSN, which is a site run by and for the so-called Democratic Party (the smirking vermin Al Franken was featured on the homepage yesterday) had a short-lived story about the economic recovery and how it was already helping GWB's numbers. Noticed this while at home, get to read it because the browser cratered, and when checked from work, it was gone, replaced by one that claimed that the economic rise hasn't helped GWB at all.
George W. Bush will be reelected by a margin of at least ten per cent
