You're insane.
Just pointing out that assumptions get us no where. WE DON'T KNOW! We have zero information and assuming Rush or Marta "are to blame" is ridiculous.
We have all seen divorces, not a single one has just one person to blame. There are with absolute certainty divorces that do not involve infidelity, druge/alchohol abuse, or any other tabloid reason.
I have seen enough bizare stuff in the courtrooms to know enough not to assume knowledge. (though the case of the marriage with the slave contract was truly beyond bizare)
What do we know:
Rush and Marta are living apart. Marta moved out of the house. They are still legally married as florida does not recognize separation.
We don't know if it is drug abuse related.
We don't know if it is infidelity related FROM EITHER PARTY.
We don't know if it is pain related to his back and neck.
We don't know if it is ear related to his deafness.
We don't know if it is related to her prior two marriages.
We don't know if it is related to his prior two marriages.
Since FL is a no fault state AND and equitable distribution state. The standard language in 100% of divorce petitions is the boilerplate "irreconcilable differences". The only evidence required under FL law is the petitioning party raise their right hand and swear under oath the marriage is irretrivably broken.
Interesting note, FL law also provides for the putting of a divorce case on hold for three months for the parties to seek marriage counseling. Both parties must consent (or the judge find there is the possibility of saving the marriage), but that provision being excercised in a FL courtroom is as rare as a white rhino.
Interesting. There obviously is a crisis brewing.
