California can be proud today. (for once)Lived there for seven years in the 80's -- beautiful state and don't let anyone tell you anything else. Nothing as beautiful as looking out on the Pacific as the sun sets -- all of a sudden it is like it just falls in the Ocean. Most beautiful sunset I saw was at North Island as the sun set behind a carrier that was going out for quals.
Very beautiful state. I was "Calfornia Dreamin" while deployed in Europe in the 70s and "personnel" threw the dart and it hit the Golden State on the map.
