I was so proud of the young military men carrying the coffin,,they were just so beautiful to me, the way they walked that slow walk,,what is that? Does it have a name. And I loved the way they rushed the coffin into the cathedral,,somehow it was fitting. This has been a lovely sad day. It feels just right, just right.

I've had FNC on throughout the events today but a few minutes ago I, out of curiosity, switched to the networks just to see if they were covering this part. I paused a little too long on ABC and OH MY GOODNESS they're brutal. I really REALLY felt slimed.

Hi there. My dad is buried in El Toro, my sister in Inglewood, my grandma and grandpa in Stockton. My brother lives in Corona. Oh how I wish I could go home again. Phoenix is nice but it's not California.

And the freeway, I am astounded, do you see the men saluting. This gives me hope for this country. Hubby just said it is the silent majority Hubby is right.

The ceremonies have been beautiful today and the music awaiting our beloved President Reagan is continuing the trend.

Thanks Boomer...I wish they would put the titles on the screen, so many of these tunes are so familiar but neither my wife or I can put firm names to them...
God Bless the USA!

I'll be seeing you
in all the old familiar places
that this heart of mine embraces
all day through
In that small café
the park across the way
the children's carousel
the chestnut trees, the wishing well
I'll be seeing you
in every lovely summer's day
in every thing that's light and gay
I'll always think of you that way
I'll find you in the morning sun
and when the night is new
I'll be looking at the moon
But I'll be seeing you.
