That was when I had to turn the TV off this afternoon.........I was able to handle the instrumental of it earlier - but I just couldn't handle anymore after the vocals.
Yes indeed. I am amazed how quick the week went. I caught most of services. Todays Mass went so quick and was almost 2hours.
Kleenex for me please!
No O'Reilly tonight. It will be Hume and Wallace.
I saw a post in another thread or head this on FoxNews...
When the line had to close early this morning, it still stretched for 7 city blocks of people standing in line who didn't get in.
BTW .. did you happen to hear Chris Wallace earlier telling a story of how no matter where President Reagan went .. the sky would always clear.
He went on to tell a story of Reagan's trip to Ireland .. how the weather was terrible till when he stepped from Air Force one and then a Rainbow appeared off the tail end of the plane and off onto the green green hills of Ireland
Wow....
Oh, my. I recommend that everyone follow your link. It's wonderful.
Oh my gosh...thanks for that, I hadn't heard it.
BTW...WHEN is the plane scheduled to land? Gramps has been out of town this week and I've sorta been glued to this computer...and well...if I had some time to run around and clean it would sure gosh darn be nice.
This looks like the C-SPAN LIVE VIDEO link for those not near a TV or if you have Satellite Rain Fade, etc.:
That woman has been amazing this week.
But I agreem this is going to be the hardest, this is really the final good bye.
We've been doing our best trying to explain all of this to our daughter. I think it was actually easier to explain to her the events of 9/11 when she was only 3 than explaining this to her now when she is only 3 weeks shy of 6.
Wasn't that amazing? I'm was a bit worried about Wallace being the anchor for tonight, but maybe he will surprise me.
I think I heard on TV within the hour ... but don't quote me
Country?
You bet.
Thanks for the link.
He just kept building his voice. I can only imagine the honor he felt to perform today before President Reagan and all the dignitaries. You could see him controlling his chest...chills again : )
That may have been my favorite so far of all the musical tributes. Amazing Grace on bagpipe and Taps may get me tonight
Fox News reported that just under 105,000 paid their respects in the Rotunda (104,684, IIRC).
745 eastern time...you could clean whole house in half hour LOL
Hi there Mo. :) Yes, it's been a long day. It's going to be difficult to come to the end of it and really have to let go.
Oh shucks. I'm feeling Daschle-like now.
You kids behave. That whirring sound you're going to be hearing is me, running around here making the house look clean.
