Sad that the Europeans (some of them) admit it, but the mass mediots in the US won't.

"I think President Reagan did more under greater adversity than President Roosevelt"
Not to mention there was more civility in politics than there seems to be today and TR didn't have the "mainstream" media working against him either.

Hey, I idolized Reagan, before idolizing Reagan was cool.

The greatest state of the greatest country on earth.

liz, you are right. I know this is true. We are at a critical point as a nation today.
Will we rise up and squash the idiots, or let them run free over our airwaves?
It is now time. Stand up, be counted. All of you who have tried to do your best by your kids, stand uo for what you believe, make a loud noise, be counted, and do not let the b#stards have their way with us!
Individually we can be afraid of evil, but together we can prevail. It is now time. We have work to do.

My sil died of Altzeimers less than a month ago. Mercifully, she died in her sleep, a second death imo. Altzeimers was her first death, the death of self.
To: BunnySlippers
I would have been a California native too, but my mom was visiting Grandma in Illinois when I was born. Went home a month later, and grew up in California in the '60s.

California is Reagan Country. Don't the bashers realize that this is Reagan's HOME?
If they didn't, they do now.
Ch7 just estimated over 200,000 have lined the 30 plus mile route.

To: radiohead
I agree, radiohead. Mrs. Reagan probably has made many adjustments but it still hits hard when it happens, doesn't it? Even when you expect it; even when you have time to prepare for it, it still startles your very soul.
