Someone said he would be buried in the morning but I have heard so much from the TV I am not sure who said this.

All our military folks have been extraordinary.

Amen to that. They are a wonder to behold. I have just felt my heart swell watching the General escorting her. Words fail - a real, real man...

C-SPAN is now rebroadcasting the National Cathedral service. Just started. Showing arrival of dignitaries...there's Bob Dole.

At 2:45 AM EST, they'll rebroadcast the California burial service.

Thanks for your fabulous photo, and give your baby son a kiss from his Freeper family. All who witnessed this weeks events pray that the America your son will grow to know, will again have the honor and dignity that Ronald Reagan showed us could be ours again.

Your very welcome. However I could not have done many of them without the help of fellow freepers posting instant shots on the web.

My son, hahah, already beat you to it. Kissed him all over.

Ronald Reagan and dignity, excellent combination.

Despite Ron's little jab, I thought all three of the kids gave really nice, touching eulogies. For the most part, very appropriate and I hope healing for them.

I'll bet Ronald Reagan loved his son Ron despite his leftist leanings

I have no doubt he did ... he loved all his children

Matthews just pointed out Rons remark.Fineman said it was a slap at George Bush.

They will say this because it's what they all believe about the President. But it was never more clear to me than today, after Lady Thatcher's comments and both of the services, that President Reagan's great decisions were guided and squared with his faith. This is no different than the current President. The press and the elitists will spin it in accordance with their contempt for religion (which to them is a hobby or a chore like the dry cleaning) and a most certainly a worthless component in the business of governing. They believe religion is a crutch for those who lack intellectual prowess.

I don't think any of her kids rode with her at all today in the cars. Anyone else notice?

I saw her kids with her on the way to the Library tonight.

Lights dimmed in Vegas for Reagan. Shown on Fox News.

Godspeed Ronald Reagan, a lonley nation sheds a tear for you tonight.

I can't explain why, but I actually LIKE it that Dubya has a mean streak.

I'm a frappé of sorrow and joy.

Did you sob and guffaw at the "thumbs up" story too? I was laughing as hard as I was bawling.

Why do they call it "missing man formation"?

Be prepared, all of us Freepers should be prepared, for an all out attack against the legacy of Ronald Reagan.

If you think the leftist media and academia is going to let this celebration of his life and legacy stand, you will be surprised.

It's time to research and protec our President. Be ready to respond on websites, cspan, editorials and even simple conversations at work and play. We owe it to him, really.

Sorry, I certainly do not mean to offend any Freepers by saying that. It is that direct connection from my brain to my keyboard that kicks in when I hear someone slam W (at RR's funeral, no less.)

What RR Jr. said was classless and it reflects on him, I don't care if he's mourning or not - it was uncalled for. His sister Patty is also a big-time lib but at least she had the class to keep her politics in her hat.

"Why didn't she call me?"

I was wondering the same thing myself! I gave her my new cell # and everything!

Thank you both. I have such a sense of pride and mission when I see these photos. I have to create them instantly or I lose them. I am just a small part of the puzzle. I could not do it without Freeprs posting pics, Ronald Reagan, and God.

At first I winced, but then thought it showed just how close he was to the Reagans that he felt comfortable with a moment of levity. I'm betting President Reagan would have enjoyed it.

C-Span appears to be re-airing the service from the National Cathedral.

...they have thought they were gaining the upper hand. And now they're confronted with a great big neon sign that says "NO, YOU'RE NOT. WE DON'T BELIEVE YOU!"

Tens of thousands of people standing in line, waiting for hours, to see him in California (two times); ditto for D.C.; complete standstill for 20 or so freeway miles, with folks out of their cars, watching and waiting for just the briefest glimpse of the Hearse....THAT'S A BIG NEON SIGN of "We don't believe you."!!

I thought I saw them around also, but I wasn't sure.

Do you happen to know if there is some formal way to end their protection? There is so much pageantry in every thing else, so I was wondering if they have something like that when their assignment ends with death.

Did you happen to see the hearse being brought out of the gates at his home? The agents were walking with the hearse, one at each corner. When they came through the gate, the agents in the front, let go of the car at the same time and then turned toward the car, hands at their sides.

I know they got into a suburban and followed the hearse, but I didn't know anything after that.
