At what point did the Secret Service turn care over to the military?
Are they still there somewhere and if so, when do they complete their assignment?
I know Nancy will still have her detail, but leaving the President. When does that happen?

I have been having a friendly debate with a more feminist friend of mine about Dr. Laura's "proper care and feeding of husbands" book.
She hates it because she interprets it to be saying that she is sickly if she doesn't have a husband and stay home and bear him children and give him sex whenever he wants it.
I counter that the real point of the book is to explain that men are much simpler than some women think...so I think I need to email her the "Man/Woman Engineer's View" picture.
Amazed that people are still coming by to pay their respects. Where were all these people hiding? They weren't at the ceremony.
my family and i just finished watching the coverage. the reagan children were fantastic, as was the minister. fox did a great job in its coverage.
afterwards, i turned to the papers. the wall street journal had a number of good pieces (lech walesa's was my favorite)--but then i turned to usa today. i knew the libs' coverage of President Reagan would eventually turn, but i was not prepared for the lies and bile of this left-wing garbage. put your money where your politics lie, and cancel, as i have, my subscription to this rag.

You're being kind. Ronnie the Younger was slamming President Bush plain & simple. The "mandate" thing. Only President Bush, who did not use the word "mandate," BTW, has said that he thinks he was chosen to be by God to be President.
It wasn't arrogance, it's scriptural. Even BJ the Horrible was allowed to rule by God.
Thank you for sharing the story of your grandmother. I found it very moving. My mother has Alzheimer's, but is doing well so far.
These are all the military servicemen that have been with him since his death.
Looks like some of the band members are getting their chance to pay personal respects...they did a great job.
