I think we are seeing the very best that we are,,the man, the dignity, the love in a marriage, the religion, the music, the wonderful young military men, the armed service playing, the planes overhead, the flag ceremony,,this is us at our very best. We have to prepare for the slashing to start and keep our sense of who we are. Now they are playing Oh God Our Help in Ages Past. There is a message here.

No, Mr. Heston is still with us. He has a neurological disease very similar to Alzheimer's.

My youngest daughter and I were in CA a little over a year ago for my oldest daughter's wedding. We stayed after so I could take her around Los Angeles and out to Yucaipa where we lived when she was born at Loma Linda Hospital.

We went to Hollywood, the Walk of Fame, Grauman's Chinese Theater, Kodak Theater and took the tour of famous homes. We happened to have a tour guide who was also from Oklahoma and my daughter asked her why Hollywood had so many Democrats -- she was funny -- she answered that it only seemed that way because they had the loudest mouths and couldn't shut them up. She told her when you meet someone really nice in Hollywood, then you know that person is a Republican! I was astonished.

Everyone on the tour bus cheered. Was shocked even more!

Go ahead and say it hon. The Liberals need to hear it loud and clear!
If they aren't convinced after this week, nothing will convince them they are doomed.
They will only know when the Lord comes.

She really did do well today and this entire week has been, I think, as beautiful as she and her Ronnie wanted it to be.

There's a lot of good contempo Christian music too; I wouldn't want hymns all the time. But the hymns certainly have their place. And mainstream contemporary music is degrading.

I agree with you both about the slam to George Bush by Ron. Talk about the wrong time and place!!!!!

It was a beautiful ceremony in every way and that was the only moment I didn't appreciate.

It was a political statement and very, very inappropriate, IMO.

OTOH, Michael and Patti were wonderful. I'm so happy for Nancy that Patti has "come home". She seemed to be a great comfort to her mother.

I just heard that. I flipped over to MSNBC in time to hear Chrissy's drival. I'm sorry I ended my day with his remarks.
