When you walk away from the casket, you know it's all over. Next step is total separation from your loved one.

Oh man, she lost it. I feel so much for her right now!!!!!
I made my husband promise me that I could go first so I'd never have to go through what Nancy is going through right now!!!

Can we have this post as the last post on the thread and lock it like you did the other Ceremony thread at DC? Thanks.

I held back the tears until right now.
To: Diddle E. Squat
hey, the family allowed them there - we can't fault the photographers.

Note to all lurkers/posters needing a good "de-pressurizing"...
Doug McIntyre, one of the few uncloseted Republicans in Hollywood will
be on KABC Radio (790AM in Los Angeles; www.kabc.com on the net) until midnight PAC Time
taking calls and bringing his expertise as a historian to bear on the proceedings.
This has been an experience.

Mine too.
I don't know what went wrong there, but it's sad. He seems to warm and I think the coldness comes from her, I hate to say. Every family has troubles but I'd like to think at a time like this they could all come together.

I think a lot of photographers are actually government photographers that have been documenting the entire event from day one. If you watch video of the services in Washington you'll see several guys running around with large, professional style cameras. No way these are part of the media.

They do - they are her children, and she was always closer them than Michael.
