It's no secret, but I'm ready to let it go and leave it for another day's thread. This is a thoughtful tribute being given by the reverend.

Someone will surely bash the piper. Great point, made with admirable subtlety. Some are spending far too much energy parsing every phrase uttered (whether by ceremony participants, commentators, funeral guests, or interviewees), looking for slights, real or imagined.
The week has been a beautiful series of services, conducted with great dignity and grandeur, covered beautifully by the media. I cannot for the life of me understand the nitpickers.

Oh, please, everyone!
With all your sniping at the kids and the kids with each other...
I can hear Mr. Reagan saying, "Don't make me pull over this car...stop it!!!"
To: TenthAmendmentChampion
He made the comment about his dad "not wearing his religon on his sleeve..."

After all of the explanations I still don't see itGood for you.
I and others did. Doesn't really matter in the scheme of things, now, does it?
To: Jaded
Hi Jaded!
Do tell? I know what Michael does for a living, and that Patti changed her name to Davis as a "screen name" when she thought she would be an actress.
But I haven't honestly heard what Ron is doing lately. Last I heard, he was a ballerina..Where does the time go?
