Yep. Waiting to be offended. I think so too. Whether it may have been a slap at W or a slap at brother Michael, either of those two men are big enough to let it pass. Good examples for us all.

What's with the "there's a difference between a mandate and responsibility" thing? Is that a swipe at someone?Yes, it was directed at President Bush. The left likes to portray GWB as a religious fanatic who believes he has a mandate from God to smite down the evildoers.
Ah, placing President Reagan at the crypt.

Ron was cold in some way,,he didn't seem to like talking. I don't know,,he has issues I do believe that he hasn't settled about his father. Sad really.

"I don't think I've heard a more impersonal eulogy from a child. Michael and Patti Reagan's were much more affecting."Agreed.
Ronnie's eulogy seemed very detached -- IMO.

He's married? I thought he was gay too.

Not necessarily. Maybe a jab at ANY misuse of religon in political life.
Is Ron Jr. running for something?
To: BibChr
Yep....my wife and I just looked at each other and went "damn, why'd he have to preach his politics right now....it's not about him"
"not about him.....something the Left never gets"
I am suprised to see he's still with his Old Wife.

ron reagan needs to move his bad haircult head! blocking flag folding!
To: hobson
It was totally a swipe at W. He did fine up until that point. But I thought he was implying that W somehow thought he had a mandate from God to pursue certain policies (i.e, the war on terror). What other reason would there be for that statement?
To: Jaded
Either W or Michael.Both.

I think Michael highlighted the difference between the sons. Michael was the adopted one, but he shares a faith in Jesus Christ with his father. Ron obviously doesn't.
