It is such a beautiful place, I just want to pack up and go. How much do the houses in Simi go for about half a million and up?

Your wrong there. Clinton will have the most elaborate State Funeral possible.
Only thing is if he lives to anywhere near as old as Reagan people won't even remember him much less care.
Even Lyndon Johnson who had only been out of office 4 years did not endear himself to the people and his State Funeral did not generate any real interest.
If Clinton dropped dead right now I would say that he would have a pretty good turnout of people for a State Funeral.
But remember one thing about Clinton he isn't and won't be loved or respected like Reagan.

Just as I am, without one plea,
But that Thy blood was shed for me,
And that Thou bidst me come to Thee,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Just as I am, and waiting not
To rid my soul of one dark blot,
To Thee whose blood can cleanse each spot,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Just as I am, though tossed about
With many a conflict, many a doubt,
Fightings and fears within, without,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Just as I am, poor, wretched, blind;
Sight, riches, healing of the mind,
Yea, all I need in Thee to find,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Just as I am, Thou wilt receive,
Wilt welcome, pardon, cleanse, relieve;
Because Thy promise I believe,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Just as I am, Thy love unknown
Hath broken every barrier down;
Now, to be Thine, yea, Thine alone,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.

Just as I am, of that free love
The breadth, length, depth, and height to prove,
Here for a season, then above,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!

Nah...his ego...even in death...won't permit him to have anything less than a Reagan-esque funeral.

And, can you just imagine the e-mails that will go out to the Dem faithful, encouraging them to come out to surpass the Reagan numbers.

The music was outstanding this morning at National Cathedral. This music is just as wonderful in it's familiarity, these beautiful old hymns.

don't be fooled - when Clinton dies, there will be similar large ceremonies like this. he cannot be denied, he was President for two terms. and people will come to pay their respects, it won't be any of us, but there is a whole other America out there.

And I for one won't be watching. I think we should set up a couple of people as 'watchers' and let them do the watching and posting so that the viwing numbers will be reduced.

This one made me cry:

Take My Hand, Precious Lord
(Words & music by Thomas A. Dorsey)

Precious Lord, take my hand
Lead me on, let me stand
I'm tired, I’m weak, I’m lone
Through the storm, through the night
Lead me on to the light
Take my hand precious Lord, lead me home

When my way grows drear precious Lord linger near
When my light is almost gone
Hear my cry, hear my call
Hold my hand lest I fall
Take my hand precious Lord, lead me home

When the darkness appears and the night draws near
And the day is past and gone
At the river I stand
Guide my feet, hold my hand
Take my hand precious Lord, lead me home

Precious Lord, take my hand
Lead me on, let me stand
I'm tired, I’m weak, I’m lone
Through the storm, through the night
Lead me on to the light
Take my hand precious Lord, lead me home

Does anyone else have a piece of the Berlin Wall as big as the one at the library?

These military bands and choruses, in their own way, compete. They are doing a great job.

VANITY...I LOVE the clapping and cheering...he lived a good and magnificent life. Cheering and clapping for Nancy.

I LOVE the sound of America cheering.

What would Mr. President have wanted to hear more than the sound of love, respect and emotion of rejoicing for his life and hope for the future?

Not the silence of a life taken too soon...cheers for a life well-lived and love for a country he lead.
