One word -- HUGH!
BTW, Kerry's angle could simply be "Hey, back in 1998 I said those weapons were there. And I voted for Clinton's Iraq Liberation Act, and Bush's proposals."
Instead he flip flops.
We're also giving everyone a pass on the oil for food scandal. There's a great many people who could have been burned badly by that scandal and we and the Iraqis had the smoking guns. The great sense of cooperation we see today demonstrates that we didn't need CSI to find the evidence. We had it ready to go.
I can't believe that people on FR still believe the media! Must be a heck of a lot of DU plants here!
There is NO DOUBT that there were nuclear/chemical/bilogical weapons in Iraq (don't believe me? look it up for yourselves!) It is all on the internet archives - even back with the DNC in power in congress their own studies & reports stated exactly what was there, where it was and how much.
THINK! During the initial battles there were reports of chemical and biologics being detected and found (then news black-out) - they found chemical and biologics in the Euphrates River where much was dumped! The USA will probably never disclose the casualties from that atrocity commited by Saddam.
Quit listening to the mainstream liars and re-learn how to think and read for yourselves!
I don't understand. This article doesn't talk about WMDs it talks about SA missile components showing up in foreign scrap yards?
Wow. Thanks. I just called the CBS number which you posted. Spoke with a young lady. She was very polite to me and I was also polite with her. More flies with honey and all that.
Anyway, I asked when CBS plans to report on the WMD reported found by the UN. She said she wasn't aware of that story.
I told her about the UN report and suggested she go to un.org, and she said she would.
Now, whether this goes any further than an intern humoring a caller, I don't know.
This can't be true - I haven't seen it reported on ABCCBSNBCCNN...
You mean this guy, pictured here below his hero?
"Wonder how they explain the mix in flight Sarin artillery shell, it wasn't destroyed until it was set off as an IED. "
It was also a type of shell that had never been declared by Iraq... They never declared ANY 155MM binary shells. I looked that up myself in the UNMOVIC archives at http://WWW.FAS.ORG.
Exactly what I thoguht the minute I saw this. An OK trade, IMO.
SERIES!
Bush said there will be another report coming out about WMD during the G8 summit. He looked very confident and he has something up his sleeve for the naysayers. He must be a good poker player.
The Oil for Food scandal is going to make everyone at the UN suddenly become a little more proficient. They are going to discover all kinds of things that slipped their attention just a few months ago.
Sorry to post and run, but I actually had to unfreep myself to handle some business.
Pretty serious news. What are the odds that Dan Rather will devote more than 30 seconds to this...?
They also talked about a ship floating around with WMD.
Yes! Thanks for making the confirming calls!
So why then did Kay make that stupid statement..."we got it all wrong." That's exactly the kind of one sentence soundbyte that the liberal media jumps on and will broadcast endlessly on TV. For a really smart guy, he made an incredibly dumb move by making that statement. We didn't get it all wrong and he should have known better than to make that statement.
Much thanks for posting this.
