Praying that they can take off this afternoon without incident as we expect some really rough stuff about then.
I am sorry about those children having to stand in the rain.

I've never been to the cathedral. It is breathtaking. A definite must-see on any visit to DC.

Remember -- In England it is Sir Ronald Reagan, he was knighted after he left office.

It's significant as well, because in British protocol, one ONLY curtsies to the Royals..

Ha, the nat'l association of telemarketers has asked its members to lay off the American public today. Thank goodness for small favors. :-)

This has to be very moving for Nancy. After all those years of hearing PravdABDNC attack Ron & her to find out the country truly loved her. What a wonderful story of love and devotion!
Pray for W and Saint Nancy

Argh! Can somebody post a link to the program of the funeral? Thanks in advance.

Yup. The Fox Weathercaster was concerned that it would start to THUNDER right as the 747 carrying President Reagan's casket back to California was about to take off.
My 11 and 8 year old girls are watching it. 8 year old has not a clue as to ceremony, respect, and solemn behavior and i'm hoping it starts to sink in.

to hear Peter Jennings inform us that popularity is not a measure of the greatness of a president. Please tell me you are joking!
He's right, actually. Clinton was relatively popular.
The best example of how a President can be both is currently on the way to the Cathedral.

some of these people never attend church. I guess we should pray God will speak to all today in and out of this service.... and God Bless our Military.

The sheeple, especially today's poor, just don't know any better. Today's "poor" sit watching color TV and calling long distance to C-SPAN to complain what somebody else didn't provide for them.

Good idea. The sound of her voice has the same effect on me as fingernails on a blackboard. :)

Lots of motorcades in DC, going to locales that would be covered by news.
