Oddly enough there is a 'beep beep beeping' like a truck is backing up. What's up with that?... oh - it just stopped.

I agree. For those of who remember the state of the country and our leaders in 1979 and 1980 know that President Reagan gave us back our GREAT country. I will truly miss him, his greatness and most of all his love for America, the land of opportunity. His great love for our country and how he always spoke of it always made me proud.

There was a huge outpouring for President Harding when he died in office. But he later exposed as a scoundrel.Harding was not personally involved in the scandals that shook his administration. (His mistress aside; that was a private matter.)
Harding is commonly faulted for having made some poor appointments, which is perfectly true with 20/20 hindsight. But it is useful to recall that Interior Secretary Albert Fall -- the man who took the bribe on Teapot Dome -- had been a very highly regarded Senator whose confirmation had been whooped through on a thoroughly bipartisan basis. It's hard to fault Harding for trusting him.
In addition to Fall, the Harding cabinet included such eminent figures as Charles Evans Hughes, Andrew Mellon, Henry Wallace, and Herbert Hoover. It was a guilt-edged establishment crowd. Fall's actions were on a par with, say, Don Rumsfeld or Colin Powell taking a bribe.

I too am at work with my red white and blue shirt on and box of tissues.. Without even realizing it, I'm wearing red, white & blue as well.
The LARGE box of kleenex is obligatory, with one for backup, of course.

21 gun salute is done and they are now bringing the casket out - I wish i knew the title of the music but it's slow and mournful but stately.
