I have begun reading this thread from the end towards the front.
Did I see X42 asleep in the pew?

Not nearly as silly as you sound.

Right now, out in America, there are some proud mothers watching their sons carrying the body of President reagan....what an honor This is so historic we don't grasp its significance fully yet.
A friend's officer daughter just sent us pix of some of the funeral fly-over jets that came from her base. I have a close-up to work on and will be back.

That was my understanding, too. Imam Mohammad Magid, from the DC area muslim society was listed as a particpant but no mention of how he was to actually participate.

Go to Fox News. They have streaming video online. They do? They took that down a long time ago. Is it just for today or did they reinstate it?

That was the most beautiful ceremony that I've ever witnessed... Beautiful words were spoken, humor inserted in wonderful places and His beloved Nancy sitting right there..
I felt so sorry for her when she had to walk away after they put the casket into the hearse. She had to look up at the general to know that it was time to go..I was thinking, let her just stay a bit longer if she wants. :(

Ronan Tynan....lost both his feet from a childhood illness. Wow, I didn't know that. He has a wonderful singing voice. His contribution to this service was a real blessing.

I think FOX watches us too. The other night we were complaining about them talking too much and within minutes they shut up.

I've turned into a puddle. A magnificent send-off for a beautiful man and a great President. President Bush et al did him proud.

I'm guessing it's the theme from "We Were Soldiers"God bless you. That was suck a powerful moment, that music playing and the crosses being walked down the aisle. This has been quite a day and it's only going to get more emotional later. God Bless President Reagan.
