Just think..for the majority of the Dems in attendance, it's probably the first time they've been in a church since 9/11..

Kushner's reading from Isaiah.
Isa 40:28-31 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, [that] the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? [there is] no searching of his understanding. He giveth power to the faint; and to [them that have] no might he increaseth strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew [their] strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; [and] they shall walk, and not faint.

Oh, the Rabbi just read, Isaiah 40:28-31. One of my favorites.
Yea.... I'm in a band that has written a song using that text as the lyrics.

Why do I get the weird feeling that Ronny Jr. distastes anything having to do with the mention of Christ. He seems uncomfortable when Christ is mentioned.

I love this song the choir is doing.

The Episcopal Bishop who said the prayer before the casket entered the Cathedral was vehimently anti-war and anti-Reagan. But officiating nonetheless. It was unnecessary, IMHO.

Just joining this thread - is it just me or does the camera always seem to make a point of cutting Michael out of the picture? We see Ron & Patty with nancy all of the time, but they always seem to put Michael just off-camera.
