Say they pick up nothing over 20,000 ft {appox 4 mi}because it is not pointed in that direction, my question is can something break up at that distance and making the boom sound and show flashes in the sky. If so what size would this have to be to make the boom?
Then I must ask the 6 TM'rs who have seen/heard this, how high up would you approximate it was?for damage to any satellites because something would have to be damaged or out of commission from all this.

My mother had an interesting theory many years ago. She noticed any weather disaster's that occured always seem to follow launches. I wonder if companies, government etc. have been sending up satellites and causing the imbalance in the atmosphere?

The governor's transportation czar has ordered the California Highway Patrol to explain Friday's 13-hour standoff with a suicidal man on the Bay Bridge, an episode that caused a monumental traffic jam that lasted late into the night, and to recommend measures to avoid such problems in the future. The man, Farhad Ajir, 38, of Carmichael was eventually dragged kicking and screaming back to safety by three rappelling SWAT team members who shot him with a bean bag as they all grappled more than 200 feet in the air....
Derring-do aside, it was the full day of gridlock on the highways and disruption to Bay Area commerce that concerned Sunne Wright McPeak, the state's business, transportation and housing secretary......
She asked the CHP to provide her with a report on the incident by Wednesday. "It is unfair to make 200,000 or more people sit in their cars because one person wants them to feel his pain, said Bill Wattenberg, an engineer, inventor and radio talk-show host, echoing the opinion of thousands of Bay Area motorists.
Ajir, who allegedly threatened suicide from a tower near Sacramento several years ago, is being held for evaluation at San Francisco General Hospital and is expected to be arraigned soon on charges of resisting arrest, trespassing and failure to obey lawful orders. He is also being tested for communicable diseases because a CHP officer got some of his blood on his face and mouth during their aerial struggle.

You are correct JustPiper, they are "silently" attacking us already via biological, truck incidents, railroad incidents, fires and more. 95% of which news never appears on any radio or tv report, except perhaps locally, depending on the incident. As far as I can tell, the only place these things are being consistently reported or put together is right here.

Congrats ExSoldier. My husband has decided I will lose some of my winter weight by hiking. There is no negotiation involved in getting out of it. If he goes, I must follow. I have a strange feeling the weight will go or I will collapse trying to lose it. I'm happy for your loss :)

For quite some time now I've felt my claustrophia hitting bigtime when enclosed in any mall. Say you're in the food court, where is the nearest exit? We really need to be aware of escape avenues just to do basic shopping anymore. If I have to shop in a big box store, I elect to do it when there are the least people there. This Somalian guy was caught, but it's fair to guess there are others with the same evil plans lurking in towns across America. This gives a whole new meaning to LET THE BUYER BEWARE.

Meteorite crashes through roof
AUKLAND, New Zealand, June 13 (UPI) -- A grapefruit-sized meteorite hurled through the roof of a house in Auckland, New Zealand, but luckily no one was injured.
The rock traveling at about 300 mph crashed through the ceiling, hit a couch, then bounced back up to the ceiling before landing under the family's computer, the BBC reported Sunday.
"There was just a huge explosion and we looked around and there was just dust everywhere," home-owner Brenda Archer told New Zealand television. "I'm just glad no one was sitting on the couch because they would have got absolutely crowned."
Meteorite expert Joel Schiff of Auckland University said it could be worth more than $5,000 to collectors.
"Falling through a roof is really an exceptional event and this is a beautiful, large specimen," he said.
Most meteorites burn up before hitting Earth, he said.

Wow, Bless you and yours for that attitude. I have a similar relationship with my wife. I softly kid her with Ephesians 5:22 but we're a perfect team. SHE handles all the money because I'm irresponsible. If I handled the money we would be broke, homeless and starving. But we'd be the MOST HEAVILY ARMED, broke, destitute and starving couple in town! LOL
She's my very best friend and I could not exist without her.
