Razors pain you;
Rivers are damp;
Acids stain you;
And drugs cause cramp.
Guns aren't lawful;
Nooses give;
Gas smells awful;
You might as well live.

DO IT FOR THE CHILDREN!!!!
You left out the obvious:
We MUST ban selling rope in lengths over 10" (High capacity rope bundles)
We must also ban the sale or manufacture of ANY rope having more than 5 strands, a loop on either end, or any attached mechanism at either end of the rope.

As a very wise man once said when told the number of people killed by guns, "Would it make you feel any better little girl if they were shoved out of windows?"
Someone who wants to off themselves will find a way just as someone who wants to kill another person will find a way. How is that so hard to understand?

Oh, no. Think how much more deadly shooting yourself in the head fifteen times is than shooting yourself in the head only ten times.

At least it is a lot less "messy" that way.
I have always felt that the best way is to stand in the middle of the railroad tracks and stare at the headlights and listen to the horn.
Suicide = Permanent solution of a temporary problem.

Don't forget we need to ban Brokaw, Jennings, Rather, and all of those TV noose clowns.

Just the sight of it........ I'll not be right the rest of the week!
To: spodefly
Would they use this to grapple with their problems?

Well, as long as they don't come and get MY rope.
There's no sporting use for that thing anyway!

Good one! I had a psychiatrist ask me once if I had suicidal thoughts. I told her that if I killed myself, I would go to hell and that just would be redundant.

More proof that gun control is working. /sarcasm

I read a book by a New York City medical examiner who pointed out that at least some of hanging deaths among young people (particularly boys) are accidental, the results of attempts to "stimulate" themselves with a suffocation element gone wrong. Open pants and pornography are a good indication that the suicide was an accident, though medical examiners will after spin the death certificate in a way to cause the least pain to the family.

I have always felt that the best way is to stand in the middle of the railroad tracks and stare at the headlights and listen to the horn. I have a problem when the suicidal involve outside people.
My wife ran over a guy laying naked in the middle of the road at about 2:30AM. She still shivers when we drive through that stretch of road.
