I watched this press conference from start to finish. I am honored to count a Swiftie Captain as a friend. He said he wasn't going to sign up against Kerry because he was an officer in the Swift Boats Association but he did anyway.

I was riveted as each vet got up, identified themselves, having served with Kerry, and each, to a man, asserting that mostly due to his anti-war activities and "atrocities" allegations - that they did not deem him worthy of the designation of "CIC".

That day and the day after I clicked through ABCCBSCNNNBC at newstimes expecting to see SOME MENTION of the press conference to no avail. Nothing. Nada. Zip. 200+ Officers and vets serving with Kerry during his 4 months in Viet Nam - Calling him "unfit" as CIC and not one report aired on the news conference.

Now a normal, intelligent, well read person might suspect that there is a conspiracy among the media to keep Kerry's positive appearances in the forefront and to bury any indicia or relationships to the anti-war efforts including the chicoms, NV, Answer, Soros, etc. but not me. I don't suspect it - I know it and I recognize it. Its called treason. Of course that's just my opinion, but just so you know I'm never wrong - just ask my wife. :-)

They should show up early in the morning outside of NBC with signs demanding that they be interviewed by the perky one. "Katie, don't bar the door"

Do you know how many veterans will show up at the Spetember 12 event, and what the media coverage will be, or is it too early to know?

Way too early to tell, on both counts...

Running some TV ads is an excellent idea. I know a lot of people would contribute to pay for fair coverage of these men and their experiences with Kerry. Hang in there everyone, this is going to become a campaign issue. John O'Neill has been on the Larry Elder radio show a few times and he got a strong response from the audience. Vietnam vets and other interested voters are eventually going to hear what these men have to say. And you only have to hear them once because their testimony against Kerry is just devastating.

BTW, the May 4 press conference was broadcast live by C-Span. I watched it and the statements these men gave were exceptionally sincere and quite damaging to Kerry.

C-Span still has the streaming video of the press conference available here.

Much of my site is plagiarized from others - but I doubt anyone will object.
Not only do I detest what Hanoi John did when he returned, but to make it even worse he was still an Officer in the United States Navy when he actively worked against US interests and gave active aid and comfort to the enemy.

"three scratches and you're out" Kerry.

“Decorated War Hero”.

#1 - self inflicted at Cam Rahn Bay?

#2 - Bruise?

#3 - tiny particle or did he scratch himself in the wheelhouse?

Awarded for killing an unarmed wounded V/C

Awarded for helping an American GI from the water. If he had not done so, he should have been court-martialed. If Silver starts were passed out for this kind of action, my company would have had bushels of them.
