I was adjusting my video at the time so no I didn't. I will watch for it when I splice my video together to create a DVD of the week's events. She sure looked wonderful. I know she went all out to present herself with the optimum of respect. The English sure are classy in that regard.
Well put.
It's not surprising that Andrea Mitchell made the comment. Just as it is not surprising when a rattlesnake bites.
Margaret Thatcher and Nancy Reagan were the most moving sights for me today. I have tears welling up in my eyes right now just thinking about these two great women at today's events. I hate to see them so look so fragile, I will always remember them from the eighties. I never really that about this, but the 80s were a great time to grow up and have such people as our leaders. Today has been such a sad one for me.
Bless her heart, she bowed before the casket. That was so touching, and from a Brit, quite an honor.
LMAO, yes the Major Tom days are long gone. When MTV came out, I thought to myself, what a great concept. See, I have been known to make the outlandish flub from time to time.
Nooooooooooo, she really didn't say that, did she? Perhaps she meant to say "back when we could trust the allies"? Well, the chief weasel showed us today that we still cannot rely upon France.
She taped it in February of this year. Her doctors have advised against public speaking because they feel it might be too stressful for her since the stroke.
That's a good one. He has company and takes her out there in her high heals. Of course I'm kidding. I'll get she was having a great time. Thanks for the post.
Thanks, I really miss him. His passing has been an emotional one, even though we all knew he was ill, I think we all prayed this day would never happen. We are so lucky to have had him for our president and so fortunate to have voted for him. Mrs. Reagan has been a rock so far. She's an amazing woman, and she reflects him so much.
Did anyone see Michael Reagan? I didn't watch the whole.
Thanks D1, great picture.
Thanks for the photo, it's awesome!
It's been sad for all of us who knew what President Reagan stood for.
I know I heard on one the Cable
Nets that she isn't coming; her
decision I'm sure. BTW, she is
90 yrs. old. And she lost her
daughter Maureen to Cancer.
Great photo. I've never seen that one. Thanks for posting...

Sorry...one OF the Cable Nets.
I really appreciate Nancy and all that she did for her husband. The real sad thing is that too many suffer from this disease, and most don't have the resources Nancy did.
This isn't to take away from Nancy. It's brutal to have to watch your loved one fade away. Nancy has been through a lot and I admire here for it, not only the love and devotion to her husband, but the dedication to him even after he didn't even know it was her.
It is sad to watch as these legendary giant's lives wind down.
