Missed this part of the Funeral - does anybody have the text yet, and if so, could you please post it?
Many thanks,

It really grated on me to see Fat Teddy and Nancy Peloser standing in the audience. We know they hated Reagan and anything associated with him.
Actually, when they showed Pelosi smiling, I noticed that she seemed pretty. But then I realized, it was a long-distance camera shot.
It reminded me of that line from the movie Clueless:
She (Pelosi) is like a Monet painting. When you look at her from afar, she seems lovely. But when you get closer to her, she turns out to be a dog.
Beautifully perfect and appropriate to the occasion in every way.......tone, content, delivery. "Not bad. Not bad at all," President Reagan could have said again today.
Dittos on the sorry House Chaplain's opening prayer. I'm sure God was impressed that he could quote that inane bit of ee cummings "poetry" about the wheel (?). And asking the Almighty to make us all "globalist" in our view, turned off at least half of the Republicans listening.
Wonderful in brevity and simplicity.
Cheney did a wonderful job!
Impressive....
It was a very moving a powerful thing.
The Vice President was very strong.
But, for the love of God, HOW did The Mouth of South Central (Maxine Waters) get a spot on the front row???
That was just a downright sacrilege.
We could use a little more Reagan optimism around here too. I think our current president is doing a great job considering the current state of world affairs. WE could learn to stick to what we believe in a little more too.
I also think GW's popularity has bottomed and will be haeding up from here.

You have to know this was directed right at the sink meister:___________________________________________________________Seen now at a distance, his strengths as a man and as a leader are only more impressive. It's the nature of the city of Washington that men and women arrive, leave their mark and go their way. Some figures who seemed quite large and important in their day are sometimes forgotten or remembered with ambivalence.
"Perzactly!"
bump --want to read Vice President Cheney's eulogy and save later
The very first preacher. He told everyone to bow their heads in prayer, then began a speech, quoting a poet, and also said something about wishing our country were more respected around the world....liberal crap, disguised as a prayer.
I must've missed that, but I wouldn't doubt it.
Agreed. That was the "prayer" that sucked in my mind also.
Even far left, Ron Jr. looked peeved at that guys pretend prayer!
"...did ANYONE see that smug smile on Pelosi's pie-hole during Speaker Hastert's remarks as "the camera scanned the likes of Maxine Waters and other illiterate dems....?" Was it just me; was I imagining it?..."
Though I missed the original (was on the phone long distance), I did catch that witches smirk on her plasticized face - and afterwards, when checking the MS-LSD video re-broadcast of Cheney's Eulogy, I was very miffed to see that the re-broadcast cut the Eulogy short.
Only afterwards, did I realize that MSNBC cut it short just as the camera was starting to pan across the group of attendants... and realized they cut the broadcast short JUST BEFORE THE CAMERA PANNED TO SHOW PELOSI WITH HER VULGAR GRIN!!!!
And they say there's no media bias... yeah, right.
