Senator Kerry's Final Three
Kerry campaign insiders tell us that the Vice Presidential selection team is down to three finalists.
They won't say who they are, but we hear that Iowa Governor Tom Vilsack remains the front runner and that North Carolina United States Senator John Edwards is in the pack.
Senator Edwards is liked inside Kerry headquarters, as evidenced by the Edwards bumper stickers in some cubicles.
Fuggedabout Illinoise. We just recently passed the ERA. Is that progressive enough for youse?

My money's on edwards in a desparate attempt to pull in Southerners.
Does anyone really think it'll be Vilsack? I understand campaigns routinely leak misinformation about vice presidential contenders so as to maintain the element of surprise when the announcement finally comes.
