Senator McCain: "Americans Haven't Sacrificed"

Posted on 06/08/2004 6:12:40 PM PDT by ConservativeMan55

Senator McCain said this on Hannity and Colmes:

Hannity: "Senator McCain, do you believe that you are a Reagan Conservative?"

McCain: Absolutely. I mean I think we can talk about policy, but I think I share his vision for a great America.

Hannity: Could you explain that a little more?

McCain: Sure. American's haven't sacraficed anything in this war. I think its time that they do some sacraficing. Roll back the tax cuts to the rich, cut defense spending..and.....increase..

Hannity: Senator I have to cut you off because we have to go.

Tomorrow night, LKL will play snide host
to President GHWB and First Lady Barbara.
Suggest watching LKL and foregoing Hannity.

Even Scarborough is reaching a new low

I don't know what happen to Joe .. but I gave up on his show months ago

When he comes back to his senses and stops sounding like Pat Buchanan and Chrissy Matthews .. then I'll start watching his show again

McCain: Its not so much economic policies, but a vision.

What is this "vision" crapola and where did it originate? It has to be a Democrat codeword for "Tax and Spend, The People Be Damned."

Ronald Reagan did not have a vision. He had principles! Good grief.

Ronnie, I know you said "Never speak ill of another Republican" but sometimes--especially where John McCain is concerned--it's so hard ....

So, has that rat changed the column now? When I read the column, it isn't mentioning what Hannity was reading today? What's the deal?

To whoever else said it, I think emailing Hannity about McCain is a great idea. I'm sick this McCain overload that is being dumped on us.

Thanks.

Need to call Ted Rall on his BS. He doesn't "believe" Reagan is in Hell. Ted Rall is an atheist.

He lies and says horrible things because he is a dead souled pr*ck. He's also a confessed anarchist-socialist.

Have to wonder what Universal Press Syndicate sees in putting someone in print 4 times a week who is so far to the left that they want to see our constitutional form of government replaced.

He's a whiney girly man who pulled his site down for 2 days.

Tuesday, June 08, 2004 Server Problems

My apologies to those who attempted to access Ted Rall Online yesterday. It seems that the server crashed due to a high volume of traffic. We're working on the problem and hope to resolve it soon. Of course, if you're reading this, things are probably just dandy.

Bush v. Reagan

I've written this week's column, which will go up later today, concerning the similarities between Gov. Dubya and Ronald Reagan. But there's also a major difference.

When George W. Bush dies someday, please bear in mind that, unlike Ronald Reagan--a duly-elected president--Bush will not be entitled to a state funeral or placing flags at half staff. As an illegal usurper who seized power extraconstitutionally, Bush should be buried at sea, in a simple shroud, and returned to the sharks that spawned him. Reagan, for all of his faults, should at least be acknowledged as a former president.

Rall is not a man. Rall is an "It", rhymes with s###. "It" is spineless and "It" is ball-less.

Check out "It's" web site. "It" preempts any criticism and begs off like a good little coward warning anyone who would "threaten" "It" that the authorities will be immediately notified. Rall does not believe in accountability for the vile and filthy vomit "It" spews. Rall is wrong. Rall is an Ass in the truest sense of the word.

Here's an interview I found with Ted on his own site:

Tedrall: I think that punk's biggest effect so far has been to change
Tedrall: the way its fans think about themselves.
MnrThrt: so you look at it as more personal than macro?
Tedrall: I don't think it's going to send people to the barricades to
Tedrall: string up CEOs or anything. Unfortunately. MnrThrt: no punks rising up and anarchist revolutions?
Tedrall: Yeah, definitely, it's a personal thing. It's not a mass
Tedrall: movement, anyway...not enough people listen to punk.
MnrThrt: straight edge on the other hand...
Tedrall: It would be nice if it happened.
Tedrall: What I think is that at some point there will be a
Tedrall: revolutionary uprising. At that time a lot of people will
Tedrall: come together to fight, and many of them will be people
Tedrall: influenced by punk ideology. That's why they won't have
Tedrall: bought into the system.
MnrThrt: how about the idea of a race war in the US?--most punks
MnrThrt: will be out of luck!
Tedrall: A race war would be bad news, especially since I'd want to side
Tedrall: with the non-whites...and they'd want to kill me!
MnrThrt: exactly
MnrThrt: I'd just have to hide out
Tedrall: But I think race, gender and other politics of division are
Tedrall: mere distractions from class differences.

Kill Whitey, eh Ted? UseLESS Idiot.

Read this McCain:

"They expect you to tell your children that the American people no longer have the will to cope with their problems; that the future will be one of sacrifice and few opportunities.

My fellow citizens, I utterly reject that view. The American people, the most generous on earth, who created the highest standard of living, are not going to accept the notion that we can only make a better world for others by moving backwards ourselves. Those who believe we can have no business leading the nation".
