Are they attacking the widow?
Clinton's inner circle is convinced Nancy Reagan has personally shut out Clinton from any high-profile participation.
"It is a state funeral, using tax dollars," the top Clinton insider explained.
Oh my god...

Yeh, this is part of the libs attempt to muddy the Reagan Legacy, etc.
Several conservatives have said it would begin subtly and continue (building) through the week.

Are they attacking the widow? Yes, they are. The compassion of liberals never ceases to amaze . . .
She's a frail, 83 yr.old woman who has just lost the love of her life after a grueling, relentless, and bitterly difficult 10-yr. battle with Alzheimer's. And she is gracious enough to share the event with the rest of the nation because of the love the nation has for him.
And they're upset because they don't get to talk?

Yeah, that's what she's thinking about with the broken heart she has. Quite a winning strategy you have there, boys!

The amazing thing about the "Clinton insider"'s statement that the state funeral is using tax dollars is the assumption, on this part, that the public interest is served by having Beezlebubba speak at the funeral.
To be a "Clinton insider" is to occupy a completely alternate reality...

Clinton's inner circle is convinced Nancy Reagan has personally shut out Clinton from any high-profile participation. Well, I should HOPE so. The gall, the arrogance, the stupidity to think that Clinton thought he had a right to speak at President Reagan's funeral. Why would he think he could ride on Mr. Reagan's coattails??

...and as a taxpayer I do not want Bill J. Clinton anywhere near the podium, waxing "sorrowful" at the funeral of MY president.
