[history]
Democratic presidential candidate Sen. John Kerry spent the past week hawking a tough national-security image to convince voters that he can be trusted to aggressively fight the war on terrorism, calling it the "greatest threat" facing America today.
But less than six months ago, the Massachusetts senator said in a televised debate that the Bush administration had exaggerated the threat posed by terrorism.

There is a guy on another board who is you typical twisted-faced, spittle-flecked Bush hater. He has complained that Bush is "exaggerating the threat from terrorism" and whenever news comes out that Al Queda is planning attacks on US soil, he screams that Bush isn't doing enough.
Liberals! Never satisfied.

Stay tuned for major flip-flopping. Iraq has turned the corner and what's a Kerry to do? I'm sure his handlers are working on repositioning him to shed a more effective light. Do they think no one is paying attention?

He would make a great president as the enemy would never know what he really meant. Just like that other lying sack of excretement we had for president for eight long years.

bump.
Is there a central place for all these flip-flops? These need to be documented in one place so I can print and give liberals.

The classic flip flop: Kerry speaks out of either (depending on the day) ignorance or political expediency.
And he doesn't possess the smarmy charm to cover it up like Clinton!

I might be interested in compiling a list and put it on the front page of my website as a public service. I'll think about it and let you know.

The Kerry campaign did not explain the apparent discrepancies in his positions, except to say that his current position is the one he's sticking with.
The Kerry campaign did could not explain the apparent discrepancies in his positions, except to say that his current position is the one he's sticking with [for today, at least, but tune into tomorrow for his position then, depending on the audience and overnight polling which could cause a shift in his official statement....maybe....maybe not...we'll just have to wait and see].
This guy is unbelievable. He gives waffles a bad name.

Give it some thought, BSunday. I did the same thing when the Seven Dwarves harped on the CBF. It crushed Dean and exposed all the others.
I have seen a number of good threads on FR documenting the facts, it would be good to compile them in a centralized place.

He also said he would expand the standing army by 40,000 troops at no additional cost to taxpayers to fight terrorism. And he will also personally see to it that the price of gas drops to $.39 a gallon, and the laws of physics are suspended by a snap of his fingers...
Oh well, this guy must have some powerful mojo to pull that off. I guess he knows 40,000 people that are willing to join the military for no pay, and buy their own uniforms and weapons... and food... and housing... and healthcare...

Kerry's
speech-writers1 must truly believe that the people
2 are brain dead.
1: I say speech-writers as that's who he's blaming now for all his contradictory statements.
2: I stipulate that the proverbial 12% 'undecided', ARE brain dead.

Thanks TomGuy - I just added the quotes from this thread to that thread. I hope others will do the same.

Well, you see, he will simply write an EO forcing them to work for free and pay their own way to Iraq and all their expenses.

I think I will, as long as ya'll will help me compile the list. I basically stopped using angelfire when they stopped allowing outside links, so I'll just rewrite my website to be an Anti-Kerry/Pro-Bush site.
PS anybody know of a good service I could get for my family's web page ?
