Does anybody know exactly when the Reagan "lying in state" in the capitol ends?

I could get down there by about 11 pm on Thursday, but I think I may be too late.

They have extended the time at the Library from 6pm to midnight tomorrow. This might also happen in DC. Give it a go...you might just make the window even if they decide not to extend the viewing time.

I believe it's going all the way to Friday morning.

However long the wait is, it is worth it if you can make it.

Here's a thread with my experience:

From the Washington Post today:

Capitol Police Chief Terrance W. Gainer said public viewing of the coffin will begin about 9 p.m. tomorrow and continue, without interruption, until about 7 a.m. Friday.

It's open until 7 or 8 AM Friday morning. I'll be there Thursday night as well.
