I am of Dine (Navajo) we accept death as another fact of life- we do not shed tears for those who pass.

However I cannot think of of RR without shedding tears.

He was so much to me and my family. When I was old enough to vote I became a committee man, inspired by RR. I was driven by him, and it continues...

as they say; you know, him and Reagan's casekt before Bush gets in the picutre.

Kind of reminds ya of Clinton

If he is going to DC .. then his trip to CA is nothing but a PR Photo Op

Shame on him

You cannot tell me that those are all conservative activists or this is driven by nostalgia, or parochial loyalty. It is Reagan that is mainstream and reflects the nation, not the liberals. This is the real truth of it, not matter what facade the Left presents to con their was to legitmacy.

If we could just continue his legacy and tear down the welfare stat. What a legacy we would leave to our children.

Here's a question ... Why is Kerry going to the Reagan Library ??

Why doesn't he just go to DC ???

Why should he go to DC? He hasn't been there for the past few months, doing the business of the people he represents.

Kalifornia's cost of living increases drove a lot of the conservative vote out after 1994. Plus there are probably a lot more swing voters here, as witness to current governor's election. I, unfortunately, am still stuck in this forsaken state. The only benefit today was I got to see the former President lying in repose. I waited almost a total of 9 hours (4 hours to travel 4 miles on the highway and 5 more in line) and I'd do it again.

It's open until 7 or 8 AM Friday morning. I'll be there Thursday night as well.
