We'll keep praying for you. Trust in God.
We're all here for ya, Prime Choice. BTTT
My husband died of lung cancer. You are very Blessed to have survived it. In 1989 I was given 5 years or less to live. God is so amazing. He completely healed me. Praise His Holy Name!
Jay, my prayers are going up for your speedy and complete recovery. God bless you greatly!
CCC, thanks for the ping.
Prayers for a full recovery, and thanks for all the smiles your've sent our way. God bless you, PrimeChoice.
Prayers going out and up.
Thank you for all the laughs.
See if the hospital allows laptops! It'd be a shame to waste all that potential freep time.
Good luck Jay. You'll be in our prayers.
Amen!
Carolyn
Prayers to the Lord for your quick recovery.
Sorry to bother you, but have any of you heard from or about Prime Choice? His surgery was scheduled for 6/10 and I was wondering how he was doing. Have any of you heard anything?
Did you read Post #108? There's a very good possibility that he is in the arms of the Lord.
Yes, I read that post of his the day he wrote it. I was just hoping that perhaps someone would have some good news. Thanks for replying, B4.
Hello Everyone,
Just a short note to thank you all for your prayers and well wishes...and to update you on my situation.
After surgery and a many-day stay in intensive care due to post-surgical complications, I was finally discharged from the hospital. I am in a respectable amount of pain, but that does not in any way diminish the keen joy I feel at being home again.
But for the news...
First, it is confirmed: the cancer is malignant. The surgeons removed 2/3rds of my pancreas, the entirety of my spleen, and my gall bladder, but they are not entirely sure that they got all the cancer. Only time will tell.
Second, the type of cancer is even more rare than previously supposed. It would seem I am the first documented case of this type of cancer.
Though I'm easily tired, moving significantly slower than usual, and scarcely able to tend to my own needs, I am nonetheless at peace.
The Good Lord has been kind in His benevolence and, if it is His will, I will not only survive this crisis, but prevail.
Thanks again for all your prayers. Even in the darkest hours in intensive care, I never felt alone. Your prayers and the kindness of the Lord saw to that. And for that, I am eternally grateful.
I can't predict when I'll be online next, but I hope it will be soon...and with greater vigor.
We Love You Jay, Just Kick Back and Heal, We will all continue to pray.
May God bless you, friend.
Prayers are with you...God Bless..
In the coldest, hardest, most painful of all the mountains you have to climb, you will never be afraid for there you will be guided by The Bright and Morning Star.
And in the most bleakness and desperation of any hour you will never be alone, for Jesus Christ is with you - now and until the ends of the world.
You have blessed so that others my bless also and now may God's love and mercy be poured out upon your head as a healing oil of gladness and the sorrow be turned into laughter and your body healed by The Blood of The Lamb.
Rest.
Don't worry, it's all part of the government's plan to make you the greatest secret courier in history. Can't have those organs taking up so much valuable space now, can we? That's right, as soon as you get better you'll visit many exotic places while pulling down the Benjamins.
Seriously, you have our prayers and best wishes. Contracting a totally unique cancer has to be one of the most frightening things to happen to anyone. I know it's a lot to ask but please channel those negative feelings into the will to fight.
Jay,
our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.
David
