I haven't seen that one before...apart from the hat it could easily be W on his ranch. Maybe all Presidents should have ranches they work on.
When I turned on the tv on Saturday and heard CBS commentators saying nice things about Reagan, I immediately starting turning the channel because I knew right then that he must have died for them to be talking nicely about him...sure enough the other BS channels were on doing the same thing and my heart lurched into my stomach as I heard that he had indeed passed away. We need to proclaim the truth to this next generation so that they will know and be able to discern right from wrong.
I was moved when rush read this. I will print it and put it away for my 2 year old son to read when he's old enough to understand.
I did notice Rush's sadness last Friday.

I stayed by the radio today just to hear Rush and how he would honor President Reagan. I love Reagan too. I was in the fourth grade in 1980 and we had a mock election. Carter won! We were in a democratic county in Alabama. A little girl taunted me because I voted for Reagan. I remember her telling me Carter would win. Needless to say President Reagan won the real election. :)
My son finishes his freshman year of high school tomorrow. I am sending him this as required reading for the beginning of summer vacation.
Absolutely beautiful and informative - I was one of those not paying a lot of attention in those days - although I always loved our president.
I am so thankful God has blessed us with these fine people to come in - take the lead - ignore the obstructionists and follow what they know is right.
Thank you God for giving us Ronald Reagan, George W. Bush and Rush Limbaugh. What would America have done without these people?
