Today is my wedding anniversary, and I am afraid I am quite the mess! Oh well!
I suppose getting away from the house is good, but when I see flags that are not being flown at half staff, I get angry!

Perfect, and sadly true, tagline.

What a great love story they had. Real class acts. Amazing!

We got lucky that they were President and First Lady.

Welcome aboard.
Great Screen name.

It just gives me so much comfort whenever I hear Reagan speak.
Even his picture brings a smile to my face. He made you feel good....and still does.

Meanwhile, "O.J. 'allegedly' hurt Nicole Brown".

You mean you haven't heard the latest? In a teaser for an upcoming Network interview, he was heard claiming that Nicole hurt him. Really.

Plus, if Reagonomics "hurt the little people", how come it is still called a miracle? Must be a Democrat; that's all I can figure...they hallucinate, you know.

thanks for sharing that great story. Interesting tonight Mr.C4E and I have to attend a little social function and I intend to stand and give a toast to our fallen President and read the lyrics to the Irish song..'The Parting Glass'...remembering he was of Irish descent. It seems fitting.

From FReeper bd476 who has spoke to FReepers Diotima and Doug From Upland at Moorpark College.....

A few minutes ago, I was able to speak with Diotima. Diotima and BobJ arrived at the Moorpark Community College parking lot in the motor home at 10:30 a.m.

The motor home has a refrigerator, a freezer and Doug from Upland said that he was on the way with ice.

Diotima said that the shuttle buses began leaving the parking lot approximately (now one hour) ago. It is all very organized, and running smoothly. There are at least 10,000 people there already, yet it appears that all is running smoothly.

Diotima said that there is a high level of security at the parking place. Handouts given out to all say that the following are not allowed:

Bags, cameras, packages, backpacks, briefcases, camera cases, laptops or cell phones.

There is no photography allowed inside the library. All electronic devices must be silent.

Small purses and diaper bags, if the situation is called for will be allowed. Both are subject to search.

If you bring gifts and/or remembrances for the Reagan family, there is a place in the parking lot where you may leave them.

BobJ has been taking a bunch of pictures.

Driving up 118 Fwy Diotima said that there were flags hanging over freeway.

Then I was able to speak with DougfromUpland:

Doug said that there is at least a 1/2 mile back up on the eastbound 118 Ronald Reagan Freeway at Collins.

Doug's advice: don't get off at Collins go to the next exit, or plan on getting off at the exit prior to Collins.

He didn't drive up in the Hummer?

I think the Hummer's in the shop being retrofitted to be more energy-efficient.

The former British leader has given up public speaking after a series of strokes, but will deliver a vidoetaped eulogy recorded several months before Mr. Reagan's death.

I'm glad she did that. She may have been worried she wouldn't be able to speak at the time he dies, or that she would pass first. She and Abigail Adams are my role models.

Yes, viewing will be continuous for 30 hours, until 6pm on Tuesday. They anticipate 2,000 people an hour, parking is at the college nearby.

I'm not real sure what "reality" you are living but it sure doesn't match the FACTS. Don't try to report your opinion as "fact".
