Jwalburg found out this morning that she may have a Pulmonary Embolism - which can be fatal. She goes to the Doctor at 11:00 this morning - an hour before her flight to Virginia (where her son is getting married)is supposed to leave.
We're hoping everything checks out okay so she'll be able to attend the wedding. Your prayers would be appreciate.

She should get a Doppler survey immediately....it scans the veins and confirms whether or not a clot exists. When leg suddenly swelled for no good reason, I phoned my doctor and he was concerned that a blood clot might be the reason, and he ordered me into a local hospital emergency room with the order to get a Doppler survey. If there is a blood clot, they'll start with blood thinner medication immediately.
In my case, there was no blood clot. Others who have had blood clots say that there's a lot of pain associated with a clot. I pray for her and ask that you keep us posted!
