The bill having been read twice and placed on the general calendar can now be brought up for a vote AT ANY TIME! At best we will have about 24 hours notice before the bill comes up for a vote or is offered as an amendment to something else. Call your Senators now an urge them to fight any attempt to extend the AWB.

He devised economic policies that didn't favor or punish anyone and made it easier for middle class families to keep more of their money and for business, and thus employment, to grow. Unless Jesse Jackson et. al. think jobs and prosperity for everyone is bad thing, of course.

When you watch Reagan’s funeral in Washington’s National Cathedral don’t mistake Blair’s presence as just observing the usual courtesies. Blair believes that, just like him and George W. Bush now, Reagan and Thatcher were unpopular but right. Put it to him that that’s not what he used to think and he simply and disarmingly says “But I was wrong”. He now believes that it’s his critics who have “not yet awoken to the real nature of the threat, the ‘warfare of the end game’.”
I heard on the radio that they're expecting almost a quarter of a million people to come through the rotunda during the time President Reagan is lying in state. Amazing.
I am thinking that some of what we are seeing, is the beginning of the Second Reagan Revolution....

I just got back from a twenty four hour trip to Washington, D.C. to pay my respects to the great President Ronald Reagan. I was the 40th person from the general public to enter the Rotunda and see the flag-draped casket with my own eyes. Here are a few of my thoughts from the day:
