The greatest President of the twentieth century and one of the great leaders in history.
Rest in peace, Mr. President. You will be sorely missed.

SHAME! Politicizing the news at such a sad time. People object to stem cell research because of the controversy of using live cells from aborted babies, because they fear that babies will be aborted to sell for research. Further, haven't non-embryonic stem cells shown more therapeutic promise than embryonic ones?

God bless President Reagan. I know there is a special place in Heaven for this man. I was lucky enought to have met him and shake his hand as a Cub Scout. Mr. Reagan put me on the Republican/conservative path, which I have stuck with and will continue to be for the rest of my life.
My heart aches at his passing, however he is now free from the bonds of his ailing body. Watch out Heaven: For A Great Man is Entering!

Don't let the media "spin" the legacy of Ronald Reagan! Gather your friends and neighbors and hold/attend a "Reagan Vigil" in your home town!CLICK HERE

I've been sufing various internet message boards- sports, entertainment, etc., and cannot believe the hatred expressed for Reagan- and Bush!
Liberals, pay attention and listen closely:
YOU'RE DIGGING YOUR OWN GRAVES!
Voters who are are undecided will be affected by your words and hatred. Your hatred may be the reason Bush wins again in November.

During Ronald Reagan's presidency I was in a very different place personally and politically. As time passed and I came around, I was able to recognize and, finally, appreciate the ways that he changed the United States and the world for the better. His work is more relevant today than ever. May he rest in peace.

Former President Bush, in his statement from his Kennebunkport home, did a beautiful job. As far as I could tell, he spoke without notes, and responded very appropriately and clearly to several questions. Extemporaneous speaking is difficult under the best of circumstances; remember, he's only a week from his 80th birthday.

Seriously, I saw a documentary about the project. Apparently one of the faces had to be moved because teh rocks were too fractured, washington I believe. Not moved as much as redone on the other side.
There is resistance from two groups. Envirowackos who never have approved the rushmore project in the first place and thos who do not want the project altered.
I believe they could do it tech wise.
Democrats also don't want the dime changed.

So long, Mr. President. Well done. We may be weeping but God's angels are smiling a little more today.

When Reagan was elected I was still a hateful little Dim. So much so, that my young son, upon hearing the election results, asked, "What's going to happen to us now?" LOL; when Clinton was elected my kids asked me the same thing. I gave them a good patriotic speech about how we're all Americans and that Clinton probably wouldn't be as bad as I'd thought. Boy was I wrong.

I've been sufing various internet message boards- sports, entertainment, etc., and cannot believe the hatred expressed for Reagan- and Bush! Believe it. Liberals don't act, they react. They don't think, they emote. They have no positive goals, only the obsession with thwarting goals. They are the negation of philosophy, and the absence of either faith or rationality. They are an egg basket full of rotten counterforces, always looking for something to be against.

I miss the best President of my lifetime. But then, I've missed him since 1988.

For those of us who are in our early 30s, President Reagan was the President that we grew up with. In many ways, he was like our grandfather, who just like my grandparents and those of "the Greatest Generation" were full of optimism.
Reagan helped propel America back to the shining city on a hill that it is today.
God bless you Ronald Reagan. We will always remember you for your intellect, your wit, and your grace. God speed.

Miss Marple does not use obscene gestures. Ever.
And I had NO signs. Just a lawn chair, and a quiet smile.
