I hope in light of today. We start using Stem Cells to cure all these diseases. Stem Cells will be the cure. I hope Nancy is the voice to start using Stem Cells.

I left this afternoon with my two older sons and we were standing in front of a church when I got a text message from my wife: "Reagan passed," she wrote. The church bells were ringing.

I went past our sheriff's house and told him - he hadn't heard yet - and asked if I could go to the sheriff's office and lower the flag. He said I could. I was sad to do it, but it was an honor.

Reagan inspired a generation of conservatives, and I'm so happy to be among them. I grew up in the 1980s, and Ronald Reagan defined this country for me, and that's why I love this country so much.

God bless him.

I'm glad that now, released from the bondage of Alzheimers, he knows how much he meant to so many of us.

"God Bless Ronald Reagan. May the Angels of Heaven sing you to sleep."

SLEEEP? May they shout for joy at his arrival in heaven! Man I hope they are having a party!

You appear to be right. The Left is in full effect on CSPAN and CNN. What sick people...

I heard St. Peter was a little worried about Reagan coming to Heaven though...He was worried that Reagan would propose a cut in the tithe from 10 per cent to a "still manageable" 8 and a half per cent! Reagan of course denied that, but St. Peter was still a little uncomfortable with that twinkle he saw in Reagan's eyes!

(gentle humor in honor of the great "Tax Buster")

I am reduced to tears and an ache in my heart. To actually have this man amongst us no longer is so sad. The ache is for Nancy who will miss him, even though she has watched her husband slowly go away for 10 years and grieved everyday for what was and is no longer. She has been everything to him and for him. She obviously loved him and he her. It was touching and sweet the way she took care of him and looked at him with that special look of love.

Our 40th President is with God and the Angels and whole again. He has been taken home and I am sure those closest to him are relieved that his suffering, is over. He belongs to our history now.

He was a Great man and President. So he will be remembered in history. Are we not the luckiest to have voted for and lived during his Presidency?

The last great president (no offense President Bush) has passed into God's waiting arms. May he be blessed in his eternal reward, and may his family know God's love and peace in their time of sorrow.

President Reagan, who I always loved and admired, has just ALWAYS had PERFECT timing. It would appear that his timing for passing on is PERFECT as well. God Bless this wonderful man and all that he has done for the world really.

That evokes one of the true milestones of Ronald Reagan's early political career, the defeat of Governor 'Pat' Brown in his first campaign for public office in the state of California.

Reagan would punctuate his stump speech with the war cry: "Ya Basta?", which was a cri de couer to deliver Cali from the inept reign of 'Pat' Brown.

The spirit of the "Gipper" lives on in the actions of all the people who voted to eject Gray Davis from office in the most recent California gubernatorial election.

That's exactly what happened to my uncle. He had diabetes; and had to have dialasis(sp?), because of kidney problems. About 3 weeks ago, he got really sick, and got pneumonia in both lungs. Well he lasted a week after he went into the hospital! From what my cousins said; he had had it 2 years ago, and they didn't think he would last this long.

That was also a beautiful post, and the first one I read upon waking.

I've spent the past few hours crying and in quiet reflection - forgive me for not replying sooner.

A sad day for America. A sad day for the world.

Ronald Reagan, 1911-2004 - rest in peace.

"We have every right to dream heroic dreams. Those who say that we're in a time when there are no heroes, they just don't know where to look." - January 20, 1981

That deserves to be immortalised in a tagline. May I?

Um, wake up. If Stem Cells can possibly cure people with all these diseases. Why not try it.
