According to the Drudge Report, old Ronnie will stop be messing his adult diapers and drooling after eating his mushed vegetables soon. Yup, it look like the old bastard is about to kick the bucket. There will probably be tributes to this old fool so here's my bio: Reagan was a second-rate actor who started shilling for big business (like General Electric) in the 1950's, and that's what he did the rest of his life until he started wearing Depends. Just another sycophant for the wealthy, like all conservatives who are not in the idle class. If he croaks, I'm having a party.

Naw - it's actually good timing for the dems if he croaks now.

On the running Zot or not debate...I say, keep this one to remind us of the shallow depth of the opposition, and a reminder that in the long run we win. By default.
There is no substance to the opposition, it will wither.

It pains me to think of Mr Reagan's family, Nancy especially through these last years. I have been blessed thus far with not having to deal with this horrible disease. The thought of it is truly terrifying. The fine and courageous gentleman we came to love, admire, respect and thank has been gone for some time.
The good in his passing,if indeed the time has come will be the release of his suffering family from this terrible burden.
My sincere thoughts and prayers go out to them.

Yes, but why can't they read this on DU, instead of here? It's a painful post to read. One day, the poster him/herself will likely have to face Alzheimers, either personally, or in a beloved relative. It's up for grabs whether I will have pity on their soul at that time.

We watched my grandfather die a slow and painful death from Alzheimer's - his mother also died of it, so my parents and I sometimes look at each other and wonder if our turn is coming . . .
This poor troll is probably an ignorant young kid who thinks he's immortal - never going to get sick or die, too young to have had his parents die, didn't see his grandparents die because they were all tidied up in a nursing home out of sight and out of mind.
But we need to see this thoughtless hatred and remember which party encourages and supports it.
