Does it bother you that Presidential candidate John Kerry is receiving Holy Communion while he promotes the murder of millions of innocent children?
I'm sure it does!
The Catholic Bishops of America have the authority to intervene and end this scandal.
I am writing to invite you to be a part of a critical project that I and others across the country are working on.
The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops is meeting in Englewood (near Denver), Colorado from June 14 through June 19 at the Inverness Hotel and Conference Center. Approximately 250 Bishops are expected to attend.
At their conference in Englewood, we are presenting the Bishops with an open letter, "End the Kerry Scandal," imploring them to end the scandal of John Kerry receiving Holy Communion while he promotes the "choice" of slaughtering innocent human beings by abortion. Here are excerpts from the letter:
"A Prince in the Church recently wrote: 'Denying anyone Communion is a very grave matter. It should be reserved for extraordinary cases of public scandal.' We agree.
"Frankly, it strains the imagination to picture a more extraordinary case of public scandal. A wealthy, powerful politician is aiding in the murder of thousands of children; he is promoting the greatest genocide in the history of the human race; he is embracing homosexual marriage - something even pagan Greeks and pagan Romans did not stoop to. If this is not a case of extraordinary public scandal, then nothing is.
"Every time John Kerry receives Holy Communion it says that the Body and Blood of Christ are not that sacred, and that the murder of innocent children is not that evil: It says that Holy Communion is not that holy, and that child-killing is not that profane. Such a message is intolerable." [end of excerpts from letter]
We are pleading with every Catholic Bishop in America to publicly state two things to his diocese:
1.) That any politician or candidate (including John Kerry) who promotes the murder of innocent human beings by abortion is not permitted to take Holy Communion in his diocese.
2.) That a Catholic cannot in good conscience support any candidate for any office who supports the murder of innocent human beings by abortion.
I am going to be leading an around-the-clock vigil in front of the Inverness Hotel and Conference Center in Englewood (near Denver), Colorado from Monday morning, June 14 to Wednesday afternoon, June 16. We will be publicly calling upon the Bishops to end the scandal of Kerry's treachery and betrayal. You can participate as well
Vigils in Your Community
On June 16, from noon to 1 p.m., we will be holding simultaneous vigils and press conferences across America at every possible Bishop's office we can. Our goal is fifty offices nationwide. (This is where you come in )
Imagine the impact of fifty press conferences and vigils happening at the same time across the entire country. The media impact and ensuing debate could be profound!
I am writing to ask you to participate in one or more of the following ways:
1.--- Forward this email to every person you know who you think may want to be a part of this project.
2.--- Join me in Denver, Colorado if at all possible. I am asking you to spend the money and the time to stand with me on the sidewalk in front of the hotel in Colorado, so that the Bishops can see and feel your presence. (Details are at our web site.)
3.---Host a vigil and press conference at the diocesan office closest to you on June 16 at noon. As you will see at our website, we will walk you through every step for you to gather a crowd and get the media to cover your event. My only request is that you follow our instructions explicitly. (See web site for step by step instructions of what to do.)
4.---Give as generous a contribution as you can to help our efforts. To oversee and put together events such as these takes several thousand dollars; travel expenses, man hours, press costs, and more. (In case anyone is wondering, I will not take one penny of income from this project for my time and leadership. Every penny you give will go directly to the costs of the event.)
My friend, these are dark, desperate times, that call for great clarity and courage if we are going to withstand the tidal wave of evil that is washing over our nation.
What we are doing is not for the fainthearted, nor for the timid. These are times that try men's souls, and call on the deepest convictions in our beings.
If your heart beats with mine in this life and death struggle, then I beg you to fight along side of us in whatever way you can. Go to the website, ponder every word and action we propose, and then determine what you will do.

Randall Terry, Founder of Operation Rescue, President of Society for Truth and Justice
Coordinated Vigils and Press Conferences Asking Catholic Bishops to Deny Communion to John Kerry and other pro-abortion activists and politicians
(Some of the Bishop's offices and dioceses listed below are in agreement with this project; in those cities the event will be to support and thank that Bishop.)

Moral releventism is (has) killing the Catholic Church.
It has turned into a pseudo-Christian modern socialistic Institution, where only lip service is given to the Holy Gospels and the Holy Communion of Our Lord.
The dressing down by Pope John Paul II to President Bush earlier today was rooted in he modern's Catholicism's European socialism, not Christianity.
We can only pray that the Good Lord will right this sinking ship.
IMHO
Keep the faith in your Church and the Holy Father as well. A few words in the context of a war in the eyes of a holy forgiving man do not indicate back sliding Catholicism.
"A few words in the context of a war in the eyes of a holy forgiving man do not indicate back sliding Catholicism.'
Those words were purposely chosen to please the European aetheists, so the Vatican can stay in "good graces" with the rest of the Socialistic EU.
The anti-Americanism and pseudo-Christianity expounded daily by The Holy See disgusts this Catholic. IMHO
Randy needs to butt out of the Church's business. Now.
He believes in brotherhood and peace. You and I have a righteous anger...the Pope has all of humanity in his heart..he's not "on our team". Forgiveness is the foundation of the Church... and I have a tough time in that category myself...but then ...I'm not the vicar of Christ on earth.
Randall Terry has every right to exercise his right to protest...and it appears he has a number of Bishops from quite a few major cities signing on... maybe you should contact the bishops and "Butt" Terry out.... Hmmmmm??
I just saw on another thread that Kerry is going to be in Denver on Sunday. Didn't the Bishop there say he would not give politicans who support abortion communion?
If there's not some kind of financial angle to this protest, I'll be very surprised.
He hasn't said.
Where? I see nothing from individual bishops.
In fact, at first glance, the bishops of Cincinnati, Baltimore, and Boston have specifically said they would NOT refuse the Eucharist to any Catholic.
Well Some Bishops refused to protect children from pedophile priests... I'll take the few that sign on as the beginning of rebirth in the Church
"COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (CNN) -- In interviews Friday, Bishop Michael Sheridan said that people who vote for candidates whose positions contradict church teachings should not take communion. Sheridan made his stance known in a May 1 pastoral letter published in the diocese's newspaper and sent to each parish, according to The Associated Press.
Kerry is an irreverent extreme liberal... He'll find a reactionary radical priest to sacrilegiously allow a pro abortion advocate candidate receive the precious Body and Blood of Christ just to perpetuate his effort to capture Catholic votes.
The continuous lies are beginning to rival another Democrat couple.... we all know the couple to whom I refer.
John KERRY the BOSTON Irish politician that hasn't a smidgen of Irish in his ancestry...
Lies...can't liberals ever speak any truth whatsoever???
Extreme liberalism is a very dangerous MENTAL ILLNESS.
Perhaps these Bishops will take a cue here; and do what they should feel spiritually obliged if not compelled, to do;
. . .give an unequivacal 'NO' to those Catholics who are determined to fashion their Catholicism so that it is personally accomodating and therefore self-serving in the worst possible way.
The Church doesn't negotiate with elitest liberal Catholics like John Kerry or any of the others noted in my tag line
Liberals are the 'people of the lie' so to speak. So truth is never a consideration; a value; a reason; a goal; an ideal; and it does not serve them to speak the truth of anything.
Or, more specifically, to your question. . .'can't they ever speak the truth'; the answer is NO, they cannot.
