John Kerry (news - web sites) told a Detroit radio station on Friday he'd name his running mate "in a matter of days," throwing the Washington rumor mill into high gear. Later in the day, he grinned when told that his interview was taken seriously.
"All you have you do is listen to it," Kerry said aboard his campaign plane. "It was plain (that it was a joke). Don't ever write about me being dour and sober and somber."
"There is no announcement imminent," Kerry spokeswoman Stephanie Cutter said. "And we won't have more to say on the subject until Senator Kerry makes a decision on who is the best possible running mate."
Democrats say they've been told by the campaign not to expect Kerry's choice until next month.
In an interview with WJR in Detroit, Kerry was asked who he was considering for vice president.
"Yeah, we'll have that done very, very shortly. We've really got most of them in place and we're on the short list and we'll have it done in a matter of days," Kerry replied.
Asked if he would announce the choice on he show, the senator said sarcastically: "Yeah, absolutely. That was my plan, and let me see now, I'll run through the list."
"Senator Kerry was just making a joke after the radio host asked if he'd make his announcement on the radio show," Cutter said.
Does he do the 3 Amigos Salute as well ???

Probably he meant "D-A-Z-E", not "D-A-Y-S". It was a play on words.
Seems the only time a Dem VP gets any glory is when the President dies in office. Kerry/Clinton would be perfect for Hillary, now that she's got everyone convinced she won't join, it'll be a surprise with lots of fanfare (and glossing over of previous statements). Then, after the election, she can do what she does best - have an enemy eliminated so she can take power.
The French would consider him a comedic genius.
At least the turtle doesn't have it's face Botoxed. He is lying his butt off if he says he doesn't have it done plus facial chemical peels.

Did Kerry witness an ear being chopped off of a Viet Cong and then DO NOTHING ABOUT IT?

Turns out the Kerry Kampaign released an inaccurate transcript, and the question wasn't even about the VP choice.
"The actual transcript shows Kerry was answering a question about picking a Michigan campaign chief."
So why on earth did Kerry try to back and fill with this nonsense about "joking", instead of just saying, "Whoops, we messed up the transcript"?
The guy just isn't ready for this.
