Breaking News on Fox
Here's the news conference announcement with Bush on FOX.
And they're not lying -- he personally messed up in a big way.
President Bush on tape on MSNBC: "I will miss him. I send my blessings to George and his family".
Or shilling his Bush Bashing Book.
Wonder what broke his back: the Chalabi thing, more post-9/11 revelations, ongoing Gorelick Wall (and connections to Chinagate) aspects...
Hey, did this have anything to do with Bush seeing a lawyer yesterday?
The inquiring mind wants to know...
I guess I will have my own champagne, too. By the way, did Chalabi fracas somehow force him to quit?
should have happened long ago!
Bush on now
The new confirmation process is going to be ugly. No matter who the president chooses.
I want RUDY! I want RUDY!
Oh YOU!
LOL
I am literally just waking up and was stunned when Fox broke in with their GONG and had real honest to goodness "breaking news".
that may well be true, he should have been fired after 9-11. But having this happen now is not good.
I liked Tenet, but I must say, this is probably for the best.
Thinking about it this could be a ploy by the dems to make Bush have to appoint another CIA director and go through all the Senate confirmation BS prior to the election.
Ditto
LIVE PING!!!!!
indeed, the white house seems to be caught off guard with this - they do not have a replacement ready to go, so that tells me this cam suddenly, that's why the junior guy is becoming acting director.
Well, it'll be interesting to guess over the next several months if he's taken any grudges with him..
Yeah. I woke up to the gong for an alert that Bush was "meeting with the Australian PM." Wow! That was worth an "alert," boy!
CIA Chief Tenet Resigning, Bush Says
Thu Jun 3, 2004 10:31 AM ETWASHINGTON (Reuters) - CIA Director George Tenet is resigning for personal reasons, President Bush said Thursday.
I was hoping the article could have been a little more vague. </sarcasm>
