This appears to be Canada's version of the notoriously unreliable Rasmussen tracking poll. This one shows the Liberals reasserting a healthy lead after briefly falling into a tie with the Conservatives. Too bad.

To me, it shows what a basket case Canada is. The voters couldn't punch their way out of a paper bag.

I can't think of the last time Canada had a truly conservative government. I suppose Robert Borden (more or less a contemporary of Woodrow Wilson) or Arthur Meighen (more or less a contemporary of Warren Harding) may have been genuine conservatives.

Why don't the remaining Canadian conservatives move here and the remaining American liberals move there? That way, we can live in a responsible, reasonable republic and they can live in a socialist utopia. Everybody wins!

It would also be a great object lesson to see which country fares better over time.

That's not that healthy. The margin of error is 4%.
Actually the other poll mentioned they were tied in Ontario only, not nation wide. It showed the Liberals up by 5% nation wide.
