Yesterday while heading out to lunch here in downtown DC, I had a chance encounter with a young female, who was employed by the DNC and passing out flyers.
She approached me and said "Help the Kerry defeat Bush and Democrats take back the Congress."
I clicked off a quick list of things about John F Kerry.
1)He has only one black person and no Hispanics on his campaign staff.
2)No one has no idea were he stands on anything.
3)As a vet I am sick and tired of him running arounding acting like a warhero, when he received 3 papercuts and after 4 months went home, were as I did three 6 months deployments and 7 years in the NAVY so why would I vote for that clown.
4)Plus on top of it all I am a Republican.
The little Democrat was left with her mouth hanging open, I guess she had never met a black man with a free will of his own and a handle on issues.
A older lady soon showed up and they moved down the street.
OUTSTANDING!
Oh! I love it! Isn't it nice to get their goat! I had a teacher bad mouthing Bush in the lounge. I told him what I felt about Kerry and his ilk who called all our soldier's a bunch of babykillers. He was just outraged!
Good job. Poor thing, probably doesn't know any better.
Hey great encounter!!
I think these folks are all over the place.
Obviously the Kerry folks did not rest for the week out of respect for Ronald Reagan.
I ran into these same types here in NYC...
they are in pairs and approach by saying "Help Beat Bush!"
I said, "Beat Bush?! I LOVE BUSH! And Thank God someone is finely doing something about the evil terroists!!!"
They looked surprised, said nothing and turned red-faced.
Maybe they assume all New Yorkers are lefties!~~~
That deserves a hearty *HOOOOOOOAAAHHHHHHH!!!!*
I salute you, sir!
Good for you!
Here Here!! You are a Great American!!

Good job. I like that you challenged her. Might make her think! Doubt it but maybe.
A salute to you, sir, well done!
Pardon the term I'm about to use, but: Sir, you ROCK!
There is a car parked outside the B of A next to where I work every day. In the back window is a sign that says "Regime change starts at home. Vote Kerry." I always want to go up and glue something like "Socialists for the Peoples Republic of America. Vote Kerry", or some such thing
Awesome story :) Just wanted to add my story, I constantly get people who assume I must be a democrat also because I'm a vegetarian. I'm a proud life long republican, gun owner, business owner who just so happens not to eat meat.
When I go to the Whole Foods supermarket, I sometimes just have to tape my mouth shut to keep myself from vomiting at all the lefties. I'm thinking of plastering my car with Bush-Cheney stickers just to counter all those Kerry ones. YUCK
WOW....now that's SWEET..........!
May your words com back to haunt her; and move her to the truth of John Kerry!
bump
LOVED your interaction above with the unsuspecting democrat and love you, too! When ya gonna do Hannity and Colmes again?
"I'm rather afraid of his supporters myself..."
And so maybe you should be - read on about Little David and his Dad...
Little David was in his 4th grade class when the
teacher asked the children what their fathers did for a living. All the typical answers came up-fireman, policeman, salesman, doctor, lawyer, etc.
David was being uncharacteristically quiet, so the teacher asked him about his father.
"My father's an exotic dancer in a gay cabaret and takes off all his clothes in front of other men and they put money in his underwear. Sometimes, if the offer is really good, he will go home with some guy and make love with him
for money. "
The teacher, obviously shaken by this statement, hurriedly set the other children to work on some exercises and took little David aside to ask him, "Is that really true about
your father?"
"No," said David, "He works for the Democratic National Committee to elect John Kerry, but I was too embarrassed to say that in front of the other kids!
Thank you for your service. Thank you for rubbing a little truth in the twits nose..
