Now, now, Trueblackman, I understand the temptation but we should never enter into a battle of wits with an unarmed opponent. I'm sure she's dull enough not to fully understand how badly she was trounced so I suppose no harm was done.

I would wonder why Kerry felt the need to campaign in DC

I have and will continue my little one person campaign against Kerry in DC. Although DC will go democrat, I do this because, I believe it may reduce his fund raising ability in DC and a lot of media is in DC. I want the media overhearing conversations by the regular people that they saw some guy was on the street holding a sign that Kerry is not fit to be president or that Kerry was never a leader.

While DC will go Democrat, the amount of tourists who see your signs can make a big difference. One person at a time, from one one one conversations, can turn an election. Tourists who go to DC are probably more likely to be interested in politics and in learning about their government so showing them the truth could mean a lot.

Well done!

As someone who once was a dues paying registered Democrat, attended some party causcuses (sp?) and even worked on an ocasional election campaign, I feel that the democratic party, I once respected (Scoop Jackson, Dixy Lee Ray, Hubert Humprey) is long gone, with no chance of ever coming back. (Yes, Dixy was a democrat, I worked on her Gubinatorial election campaign before and after the state primary and attended the Governor's ball at the state capitol to celibrate her victory.)

The only people with a degree of integrity and understanding of the big picture seem to be Republicans. The Bush compasionate conservatism message was one that resonated deeply within me.

As someone who grew up in Bremerton, I have always viewed the Navy as my friend. Thank you for your service in the Navy and thank you for setting the young lady straight!

Um, I know it's been said before, but are you thinking of "Animal Farm" instead of "1984"?

It's clear they've never had to make any hiring decisions themselves, using their own money.

Orders are up. Inventories are down. Lead times are longer. These are concrete things, things that are tracked. Hiring & investment in infrastructure are both lagging indicators.

Business is not operated using a crystal ball & at this point, no one know who is going to win the coming election.

Newt saved us from living through a Clinton economy.

Could you come out to Wisconsin to straighten out my youngest son?

The latest gems he's been throwing at me... He read the unibomber's manifesto & agrees with much of it. I haven't brought myself to read through the whole thing, but unless I do, he blows me off. I can not possibly know what I'm talking about, when I point out the guy was clearly nutz, cuz he made bombs & killed innocent people.
