I am actually extremely familiar with both ideologies (which causes me to not share either perspective). But I will certainly not deviate the original thread into a theological discussion outside the proper forum.

So, short shrift is fine with me.

You know the library is in trouble when the bookends begin to complain.

:-}.

Too late, you already deviated and by you're deviant views on God and Nazism you're "perspective" was already quite clear.

Umm...you might want to study the thread once more: it was actually you who deviated from my original statement (which, again (yawn), just stated that I don't think we need to take credit for other nations' achievements) and asked me to comment on a fictitious scenario.

Strangely enough, you didn't comment at all on the scenario you had asked and on which I presented my best guess but instead clawed into one peripheral statement which bears no relevance to either the original thread or your previous question. So, what do YOU think would have happened if there were no Americans/America from, let's say, 1900 on? Maybe you actually have the ability to continue on a thread rather than sending little disjointed one-liners around. If so, give it your best shot.

Impatiently Yours,
