Black Republicans Demand DNC Apology for Past Wrongs

After hearing author Wayne Perryman’s inspiring speech on the Democrats' racist past during the recent Western Black Republicans Conference (May 15), many black Republicans are writing and e-mailing the Democratic National Committee and demanding that the DNC apologize to blacks for 168 years of racist practices.

During his speech, Rev. Perryman told the packed black and white audience that after completing the second edition of his latest book, ''Unfounded Loyalty – An In-depth Look Into The Love Affair Between Blacks and Democrats,'' he wrote a five-page letter to the Democratic National Committee asking them to issue a formal apology to African Americans during their 2004 Democratic Convention.

Rev. Perryman is a former newspaper publisher and radio talk show host. During the past three months, he has been the guest on radio talk shows in all 50 states and in over 300 cities revealing shocking information about the Democratic Party from 1792 to 2002. Perryman has also been the keynote speaker at many Republican dinners throughout the country even though he himself is not a Republican (Perryman is an independent).

''Unfounded Loyalty'' has received rave reviews from our nation’s top history professors as well as a consistent five-star rating on Amazon.com. On March 23, President Bush sent Rev. Perryman a personal letter thanking him for his support and prayers. In addition to this recognition, the book has been featured on several websites and is listed as a must read on both the Conservative Book Club website and Forbes Book Club. National talk show host G Gordon Liddy said, ''This book should be read by all Americans. It is a portion of history that is little known by most Americans, including many of us Republicans.''

The Democrat National Committee should be sued for slavery reparations!

Bump.

As am I. It's good to see that I'm not alone in this conclusion.

It was the Democrats that took away 40 acres and a mule.

Long overdue, but will be summarily dismissed by the DNC and their gaggle of "race baiting poverty pimps" as having been written by "Uncle Toms" in the thrall of the Republicans.

I have always wondered about this myself. I see no reason to make all Americans pay for what the Democrats did and are still doing to us. At the very least, we should be able to hold their feet to the fire and demand explanations and apologies from all of them.

But I won't hold my breath.

Thanks for posting. Excellent article. I'm going to try to get this author's book on Amazon. It sounds very similar to Star Parker's "Uncle Sam's Plantation".
