Local elementary school students will be visited by a big bird this fall, but not the oversized canary of "Sesame Street" fame.
Eddie Eagle, The National Rifle Association's feathered gun-safety expert, will be making the rounds of pre-kindergarten through sixth-grade classrooms, thanks to a $4,500 grant from the NRA Foundation.
