Gunner, I've lived in Katy for seventeen years, and I've never seen our streets flood.
They were flooded today.

Chuck, I'll be there at about 11:30 in the coffee shop of the Menger.
I'll be the old, grey headed fart with the black Stetson.
I'd love to meet you!

I apologize to the Frisco freepers.

I can't drive five hours in pouring rain.
It didn't slack up until about four o'clock, and by my emergency weather reports, it wasn't any better to the north.

I hope y'all have a really good time!
See you in Austin, Jim, if the Good Lord's willing and the creeks don't rise anymore.

They were flooded today.

Looks like rain all week, pard.

How is Logan's Nana doing, by the way?

She's doing better, day by day, gunner.
It's just going to take a lot of rest.
Since she's not used to that, it's hard for her to take.

Thanks for asking, pard!

I stayed at the Menger hotel for convention.

JimRob, make sure they give you a room with good A/C!
Lovely hotel with lots of historic artifacts.

The A/C works great in room 5139, we had to turn the temp up to keep from freezing - two doubles and the balcony overlooks the pool.

Would come to SA, Sunday, the Lord willing and the creek don't rise.

11:30 or so at the Menger Hotel Coffee Shop on 6/13 is all I know about the San Antonio Meetup.

You'll have to ask these folks for anymore details.

Stay safe Cobbie. No stupid storms will stop you of course!

I knew I was going to catch some flak from you about that!

That wasn't your old, ordinary, run-of-the-mill storm that kept me from Frisco!
This was a humdinger with tornado stuff, and it didn't look like I could drive out of it going north.

But I'll be in Austin tomorrow night if I have to hire a boat!
