It took a few days and a download of that wretched Real Player, but I finally got to see Gore's speech.

I was horrified.

I am an agnostic, but the fact that Gore is not president makes me lean towards a belief in god. (I'm not kidding here.)

As a fellow agnostic, I 100% understand!!! That and so much more in the last 2-1/2 years or so.

I am a Christian, have been for many years, but only within the last 8 years have I really seen how vital character and integrity are, or should be, with respect to our leadership.

I want to encourage you in your search for God, that He knows who you are, and that He wants you to come to Him. If you've seen the movie "The Passion", I can tell you that any more of an accurate portrayal of what happened to Jesus, God in the flesh, would have been given a multiple X rating. He did that so you would not have to suffer eternal punishment.

There is a proverb that says that "the heart of the king is in the hands of the Lord; He directs it like a river...". Yes, we were blessed not to have Gore as our President. We were also blessed that the 3,000 dead on 9-11 was not 30,000 or more, as was initially feared. There is a God, and He is waiting to hear from you.

I want to issue a friendly challenge to you. If you really want to know who God is, ask Him to show Himself to you. I am believing that He will do so. Be careful, though, for once you acknowledge that there is a God, you are accountable to Him WHEN you see Him, and one excuse will not be "I didn't know".

In any case, your point is well taken, about Gore, and presumably, 9-11. I am praying for you!

Yes, it truly is amazing how closely we dodged that historical catastrophe. President Gore could very well have heralded the end of Western civilization.

I fear we may be saving that "honor" for John F'ing Kerry, if this country is stupid enough to elect him.

Or .. after WWII and the defeat of Germany .. the leading German rocket designer and builder .. came to America .. and thus the space program was born.

"The only candidate in the last 30 years even remotely sane was Lieberman."

Couldn't agree more. Zell Miller and Ed Koch are also extremely honorable men, who happen to be Democrats with vision and basic common sense. They are, in no way, representative of what the Democratic Socialist party is today. It will be a dark time in our nation's history if John Kerry, or any leftist wins in November. People need to know that each and every legal Arab/Muslim citizen in this country will be voting for John Kerry.

As a lesbian, I have made an unwavering decision to agree to disagree with the Republican party line on gays, because the party's line on homeland and world security is what really matters. When all the Islamic nutjobs are dead, then maybe, I'll worry about the gay issue.

Gore's recent rants reminds me of a web page I saw years ago. It took parts of the Unibomber's Manifesto and combined it with parts of Gore's "Earth In The Balance". It did not tell the reader which wacko wrote which paragraphs. It was impossible to tell the difference between the writings of a serial killer and the then Vice President of the U.S.

Clinton left us a declining economy which became a recession.

I love this kind of sarcastic stuff! I do disagree with one point the author made. I do believe Gore along with most of the democrat party and the media are giving aide and comfort to the enemy. There is no question about that. When you compare our troops to Saddam, call their CIC a liar with no reason for war, you are emboldening the enemy and boarding on treason. Sedition at the very least.

Gore's talks have turned into impressionist art. Verbal "Picasso's" – loud and wildly over-exaggerated. If anybody's speech has four eyes, two noses and three breasts, it's Gore's.

This sums it up rather nicely.

I didn't mean to overlook the great Zell Miller or the voice of reason Ed Koch.

Lieberman was the only non-head case to run in 30 years for President as a democrat that comes to mind.
